A big and positive surprise in Colmar,Alsace. Very fresh, modern and elegant cooking, in a cosy, home feeling restaurang. We will certainly be back

Lovely restaurant where we sampled excellent French regional cuisine. Service was attentive . Venue modern . We tried the menu de Goya with amazing foir gras and pear dessert. Another on our table had the tasting and loved the fish and partridge. Wine matching recommendations were excellent. We booked the restaurant few months in advance online.

I totally understand why this place is high in the rankings for Colmar. It was only afterwards that I realized it has a Michelin star. Ok it's pricy but I think it's worth it. As a solo I was sat in the corner on a higher table with stool-chairs. No problem - all comfortable enough. The service was thoroughly professional... More

We had a heck of a time finding the restaurant...we got lost walking from our B&B into town...poor sense of direction...and when we did eventually find the center of town, we couldn't find the little street where the restaurant was located. So, needless to say we were embarrassingly late. We were still warmly greeted and quickly seated. The restaurant staff... More

The interior of the restaurant, which is in a quiet side street of the town's center is minimalistic, but nice. A few foto graphs and deco elements, that is all. Tables are spaced decently apart, at least in the area on the left of the door. The character of the old building comes through only marginally. We went for the... More

I give L'Atelier 5/5 for food. This was hard to fault, tasty superb food and exquisitely presented. The atmosphere however is a mixed bag and one reason I didn't give a full 5/5 in my overall rating. We arrived at 6:50 for a 7pm table only to be sent back outside in the cold for 10 minutes because they didn't... More

Our last experience was a few days ago for lunch. Every plate was delicious and innovative. Wines are excellent (I got excellent advices). This time we took the menu "Grande Galerie". Service was professional, courteous and diligent. Superb lunch. 100 Euros for finest food. Our best place in Colmar and surroundings. We have been there more than 40 times always... More

Excellent food, very nicely presented. Certainly worth one Michelin star. Very good and non-imposing service. Modern decoration. No English menu, but the waiters are glad to translate and explain.

Nice and friendly rooms and staff. Excellent food and wine, after an exiting starter we had the tomato first course, unbelievable concentrated taste. Then the "best" fish in the world, perfect in texture and taste. Duck breast, my wife's was a little too well prepared, but that was solved in an elegant matter, two desserts, both from another world. Wines... More

Reserve in advance for this outstanding restaurant in Colmar. Central to Old Town area. Gourmet dining at understated best. Impeccable service by extremely knowledgeable staff. Not inexpensive, but good value for what you receive. We will return to this venue many times.
