We were 3 young families, each with a little baby. This restaurant is very central, right in the heart of pulsing center of Colmar. We booked a table outside, in a lovely patio with a lot of herbs. The staff was superhelpful, trying to protect us from thunderstorm, taking care even about our baby-prams. Drinks and food was very good,... More

The restaurant what I expected, cosy nice and friendly. The food was very good which is what I expected from reading the other reviews. Service was good although we had a bit of a language struggle because no one spoke french, one waiter did speak a little english so we worked out everything. Payment cannot be made with Sfr. or dollars... More

Me and my son rush to this restaurant after a visit in the musee on that day. I can never forget how beautiful the garden was. Food? of course was excellent! My main was chicken, my son's was the fish. Everything were excellent, Chicken was tender and full of aroma, crisp skin and fluffy fish apart just by fork. The... More

My husband and I reserved lunch at l'Arpege since the dinners were fully booked while we were visiting Colmar. We were a bit disappointed that there weren't any available outside tables in the lovely patio area, but the interior of the restaurant was acceptable. The food was very good. The waitstaff was courteous and helpful, but I would have liked... More

Lovely intimate restaurant . Great secret garden at the back as you go through. Food wonderful. All in season food. The owner is a lovely guy. Always busy. Book ahead. We go every time we pass through on our way to Italy. Very special place.

The service is exceptional, we were sitting outside it is just stunning, the food is spectacular. I was there with my sister and cousin. We all agree that it was the best restaurant we have been in Colmar and we are definitely coming back.

Have stayed in Colmar for a week and visited the L'Aprege 2 times. My wife has both gluten and lactose intolerance. No problem, the head waiter ( or maybe it was the owner himself) spoke fluently english and tok care of our "problems". Some minor changes to some of the courses and we had a fabulos evening. The Dorade was... More

Delightful setting with very friendly staff. Took the time to translate the menus and helped to check ingredients for a nut and dairy allergy. Starters were beautifully presented and absolutely delicious. Great ambiance. Only possible improvement could be to the vegetarian burger which was could have been more flavoursome. Red wine from Alsace was excellent. I would highly recommend this... More

From the warm greeting to the final goodbye this was one of our best meals. Perfectly cooked salmon and sea bass in a light sauce and duck with figs for main courses preceded by rabbit turine and followed by a cheese plate was a delightful meal. Wines by the glass allowed pairing with different courses . We were lucky to... More
