Went here after the Casino on Saturday. Four of us with Drinks for around £50. Good choice and very fresh. Still adding dishes when it was close to closing. You see lots of Asian / Chinese people who use this which is always a good sign

Buffet City is probably the cheapest buffet I've been to in town. As a student I get a 10 percent discount as well. Food is pretty basic and it's literally the minimum you'd expect to get from a typical buffet. The little assorted cakes/sweets in the desserts section are something that you can get in cheap supermarkets like Aldi or... More

Whenever we're in Manchester we always go to the Buffet City for a Chinese meal. It's nothing glamorous but the food in good, reasonably priced, plenty of it and there's plenty of choice.

We visited on a sunday. Very friendly careing staff. The selection of food and puddings surprised us for the £9.50. We had a good leisurely evening meal. Would come again if in town.

Went on a Saturday afternoon. Was very busy and a bit hectic, I guess what you'd expect really Good food but I didn't feel the same choice or quality as somewhere like the Real China at Salford Quays Plus drinks were charged for individually rather than 'bottomless' like the aforementioned Probably wouldn't visit again as there are other buffets and... Visited here many times over the years and have gladly returned..but we have been surely disappointed with our visit this time..we felt that the standard of food has deteriorated..the quality was not up to standard..the ribs were more fatty than meat..the food was very greasy..not impressed at all..we thought it was a case of bums on seats and profit rather... This was our 2nd visit to this place. It is your typical chinese buffet food - nothing special but tasty and good for a quick bite to eat of in the area, It is probably not worth going out of your way to go here as there are so many others in the area of similar or better quality and... More

First visit to Buffet City and I really enjoyed the food and for those that love the sweet trolley well what a choice you have. I have never come across such a choice. Alright this is not fine dining guys but the choice and price is difficult to match. Like all Chinese buffet places it is not the best quality... More

A very good buffet indeed. Wide selection of hot and tasty food. Good, although distinctly non Chinese (tiramisu??!) desserts. For 'senior citizens' on Monday evenings it's £8.95.......stands to reason you're not going to get 'haute cuisine' for that. Not the place for a special dinner with your loved one! but for a cheap tasty refuel it's good, certainly amongst the... More
