I am quite a picky eater, when it comes down to breakfast for lunch, but they did a great job. I had the egg omelette with mushroom in. It was really delightful and tasty. The service was ok but the waitresses seemed to be in a bad mood. I would go again but depends on who will be serving me.

visited on Sunday evening, the restaurant was busy but very nosey and loud, the service was very rushed and the overall experience was not good, I would not return. The food was good, but overall poor experience.

Went here for dinner yesterday, firstly the ambiance of the place is lovey. The Décor is classy and high brow. The menu is fairly extensive so lots to choose from. We ordered a sharing steak at £55.00 for two which was not cheap but delicious. My 1 criticism is the size of the sides that come with the steak. We... More

Way too noisy, reminded me of a school canteen and certainly did not give that nice relaxed feel. Service was quite poor, waited ages at the end of the main course for plates to be cleared and sweet menu offered and in the end had to call the waiter over. Dessert was served with soup spoons and no fork. Food... More

A great restaurant recommended by friends. Very impressive surroundings and attentive staff, the menu had a detailed breakdown of all the dishes and the food was absolutely delicious right down to the dessert. Very reasonably priced as I would have expected to pay more for such authentic delicious food. I will definitely me back.

We weren't aware that the Piccolino we had visited many times had been through this major upgrade and expansion recently. Now very smart and swish [nothing wrong with it before!] and much bigger. The nice old maitre d' seems to have disappeared... The food and wine were fine, and the service was alright once they'd settled down - we asked... More

Stumbled across this place as we walked around Manchester on a shopping trip. Such a good find we really enjoyed the experience here. Bags and coats taken at the door, taken through the lovely restaurant to our seat. Service, I cannot fault all staff were friendly and attentive. Great atmosphere and furnishings. We each had a crab salad and roast... More

I persuaded my boyfriend to try something new with Piccolo and having never visited myself we were so impressed. The staff were very accommodating to present us with the menus beforehand and were quick to seat us. The interiors were beautiful, a stunning bar area with screen showing the Wimbledon with stylish seating areas. Sat down in a comfortable booth... More

Watched the football whilst having our meal. The screen was quite difficult to see but it was fine as we were eating. The food was prompt and delicious. The staff were brilliant as well. Really relaxing and such a nice atmosphere. I ordered the monk fish which was real tasty- however, the roasties we're cooked properly, I had to send... More

As a regular visitor to Piccolino's we have been looking forward to this for a couple of months following the recent refurb. The new bar area is great and has a lovely buzzy atmosphere which we really liked. However, we were sat on a very small table for 2 in the new area which was like sitting in a corridor... More
