Excellent food and well presented . Food was swift and service to match. However the beer was nearly £4 for a bottle and was the smaller version of tiger beer ( half a pint) so for four of us it was £16. Saying no that we decided to then order a bottle of house wine instead at £14 and it... More

second time to visit, won't be going back, we were seated in the coldest place we ever ate, food was terrible, manager didn't want to know when we spoke to him. Don't waste your time or money

We found this restaurant accidentally and we're glad we did. We had a lovely meal, from the variety of pickles served with the popadums right through to our excellent main courses. Its certainly not the cheapest curry we've had but it was excellent. Its always difficult visiting an Indian restaurant for the first time to know whether to go for... More

Friendly staff and a nice clean restaurant. Loads of different dips with the poppadums. The curries were delicious and good sized portions. Wouldn't have the popadums again so I could leave room for the mains Would have been 5* but the drinks are expensive - 2 small cobras and a coke were more than £9.00

A truly delicious meal had by all four of us. We hadn't visited for a couple of years but now we can't wait to go back. Service was quick and efficient and all items were hot and tasty.

Went on recommendation from a friend and was not disappointed as I expected an upmarket central Manchester thing. I had butterfly prawn - which strictly speaking wasn't butterfly, but tasted good. The lamb shank was perfectly cooked and the sauce just right. However, £6.90 for a cobra and £3.90 for a not overgenerous pilao rice left me thinking that I... More

Popped in here on spec looking for a nice curry and wasn't disappointed. Really nice ambience, excellent service and the food way delicious. Not cheap but I would say good value due to the quality of the good, pickles and poppadoms, main course with rice and a drink each for just shy of £50. Right on the river but don't... More

We travelled over an hour away as we had heard good reviews about the restaurant. The place has been decorated nicely but what's the point when the service is terrible! We had ordered 2x lamb chops for starter and the waiter then bought 3x lamb chops we said we had only ordered two. The waiter then had the nerve to... More

Love this place, top Indian food. Always some really surprising specials available. Often quite full so calling ahead is advisable. Got to be one of the best in Manchester
