Had a fantastic meal here last night and had to get on TA immediately to tell everyone about it! There were 4 of us - the other couple had been there several times before. Started with the HUGE sizzling grill platter to share which had lamb, chicken, lamb kebab, prawns and a massive chunk of cod. The all had unique... More

The prawns were heavenly, although perhaps a touch too much salt and the lamb chops delicious although again slightly overdone for my taste, however both were much better than you are likely to get in similar establishments.

When I went in December 2012 it had only just opened (I think). My dad had spotted it and loved the idea of Nepalese Tapas. The waiter (who might have been owner) was very attentive. My father had been to Nepal many years ago and when he asked the staff about it they showed him some of the photos further... More

Having been to the Great Kathmandu next door on many occasions, thought we'd give this new place a try. Nice environment with relaxing, chillout music. Very good attentive service, the menu is extensive with both traditional curry and "tapas" style dished. For starter, shared a mixed tandoori platter. I had chicken with green chili noodles as a change from rice,... More

I love this place - the food is always outstanding quality and taste is amazing, the service always comes with a smile and always willing to chat about things. Last time, over a lovely apple pie cocktail, I was told some wonderful tales of Nepal. It's now certainly on my places to visit.

Namche Bazaar sells Nepalese style tapas as well as more familiar curry style dishes. However the tapas dishes are larger than Spanish tapas so two dishes are more than enough. There is a great selection of veggie food. I recommend the spicy chips!

Really great food- definitely worth a visit! We visited this restaurant after finding that the Great Kathmandu and Greens were both full. Fantastic options for veggies and meat eaters and the service was very quick and attentive.

The food was excellent and as tapas it ensures that everyone can have what they want and taste all the dishes. Four of us had a large range of the dishes plus drinks and the bill came to GBP 77.00..Unbelievable value, nice people, nice food (beautifully spiced) and good service.

Apparently connected to the Great Katmandu next door, but on the evidence of our visit, the food is better. Portions are a good size and reasonably priced and taste of what's in them, which sadly isn't the case in many restaurants. The spicy chicken salad didn't look great but tasted fresh and not as spicy as the menu implies, As... More
