Managed to get a table under the outside covers while it was raining which was incredibly lucky. Ordered drinks and food, drinks came but an hour later, no food had arrived. We understood that things are a little busier right now and maybe there aren’t...many people in the kitchen due to social distancing but there were plenty of waiting staff and not one noticed that we hadn’t even got our bread and oil starter. When we asked the waiter how long it might be he said ‘it’s coming it’s coming’ before even letting me finish the sentence. He then came back 10 minutes later to ask what we had ordered and we told him that if it wasn’t yet in the kitchen, we would pay for the drinks and go. He told us there had been a mix up in the kitchen and our order was missed so we asked for the bill. We then waited another 10 minutes before asking another server for the bill again. Wholly disappointing experience.More

Called in without a booking and managed to get a table undercover on a chilly showery Manchester evening. It was a busy Monday and it was a good atmosphere, we ordered pizza and it was delicious cooked in a proper authentic manner and would highly...recommend.More

We enjoyed a cosy meal here in spite of the less than seasonal temperatures - their outdoor area is nice and warm. They were very busy but managed to provide excellent service. The wine and mozzarella in particular are fabulous.

Ruby is an excellent host. She managed to get us a table during the pandemic and made us feel very welcome. The staff here are lovely. Thank you so much for your hospitality. Adolfo especially, thank you! X

Food average. Service grumpy. Therefore felt overcharged. Deserts overpriced and bore little relation to the description on the menu. Staff seemed a little put out when asked for anything.

The only reason I put 2 stars instead of 1 is for the benefit of the doubt as they just reopened after lockdown a few days ago. So the storyline goes as is: 1. Arrived on time, and our table was not ready. This is...fine but the waiter had the attitude of "Yes, you need to wait" without any apology, like it is normal to wait 15 minutes for the table. But thats okay I understand they were busy. 2. No heaters, and having to sit outdoors at night in Manchester requires heater (most of the places have heaters now) 3. Food was late for more than an hour. When asked for update they just gave us menus for drinks and desserts. So you are extrmelely late but we need to give more money for it? Waiters didnt seem to understand what was going on with our food. A few quotes being "Oh so you did not eat? Maybe we thought you did eat" and "Yes we have no idea what is going on in the kitchen" 4. Food arrived more than an hour late. Pizzas were good. My pasta was extremely undercooked.. which doesnt make sense since for fresh pasta u need around 3 minutes to cook them? 5. At the end they gave us 30% discount and an apology but really we are not going back any time soon. Maybe we go back once they figure out how to operate in this new era. I really never want to add bad reviews but I feel like I should warn people. But if you want to get a cheap price for horrible service and undercooked pasta (that could not be eaten) but great pizza go ahead :)More

Went for a meal with the family and had such a lovely experience. Our waitress Gloria was wonderful, and they catered to our one guest with a nut allergy extremely well. Food was as phenomenal as the service, and would wholeheartedly recommend a visit here...if you're ever in the area!More

Salvi's is one of our longtime favs but sadly this visit was a bit disappointing. Food was OK, it was quite quiet but waitstaff doesn't seem to be too on top of managing diners. We were shown to a dirty, unmade table, we had booked...but they didn't ask about this, the minimal interaction we had with staff felt quite transactional, they gave us the bill and we had to ask twice for the card machine... hopefully just an off day as it had otherwise been a nice place to go.More
