Now fully established on the site of the once iconic (but quirky)Market restaurant 63 Degrees more than lives up to the reputation of the location. Loosely French themed/based cooking done well with good ingredients and served by enthusiastic all round nice hard working staff. Decent wine list ( not massive but good) complements one of the more imaginative menus in... More

We went to 63degrees in Manchester for my 75th birthday lunch and it was perfect. The restaurant is small, which adds to its charm, and there was just one waiter in attendance, who was friendly, informative and unintrusive. So much depended on him and his attitude and he did his job faultlessly. We felt he really enjoyed his role. The... More

Went a la carte. Beautiful squid ink risotto with prawns, lamb cooked to perfection, tuna cooked to choice and good selection of cheese. Wine was really good and the port too. Staff were really friendly and attentive but never in your face. Highly recommended.

Heard lots about this restaurant and couldn't wait to try it out. Went with friends. Didn't feel very welcomed at all when we arrived. No offer to take our jackets. Took ages for us to get drinks - cocktails then wine. Food came before our wine and then they ran out of wine ( we had only had had one... More

Nice selection of wines by the glass to compliment the lunchtime menu. Limited lunchtime choice but very good value for money and delicious. Scallops with pea puree my husband says was delicious. I had to seasonal starter, a delicious chicken spring roll with a caramelised dressing. We both had the signature chicken with cream cider sauce as our main ...... More

We love France and was missing it this August so booked into here with my darling wife. Although a little expensive (think £162 for starter main and desert for two, bottle of good red, glass of rose and two cocktails) the food was simply perfect. We eat out a lot and visit France a lot so are quiet used to... More

This is now my second visit to this French restaurant... Once with my boss and the second time with my bestfriend for her birthday treat.... The food is stunning.... I was a little disappointed to see they changed the menu .. please bring back your potato dauphinoise and the millefeuille dessert ...The staff could do with a little more customer... More

The restaurant was a little better than what I expected it to be. The service was very and friendly, though it was a less attentive compared to Michelin starred restaurants. The food was good and well balanced. Everything was cooked well. However, nothing really stood out.

Went to 63 Degrees for a special occasion, my wife's birthday. Had booked a table and asked for a nice table near a window. On arrival was given a table stuck in a corner with another couple - we asked to move (the rest of the restaurant was pretty much empty) and we were told they would have to go... More

Description
Our celebrated restaurant is re-opening in bigger and better premises in the former Market Restaurant on High Street in the Northern Quarter.

A brand new location. A brand new menu. The same exquisite French cuisine

And to celebrate our move, we have new menus and a new wine list.

Our goal has always been to bring you a taste of Paris, with dishes such as our Pea consomme and poached quail egg, Pan fried sea bass, Duckling fillet, chocolate fondant and, of course, coffee served at the perfect temperature - 63°.

As well as more covers, our wonderful new premises means we can now offer our diners an outside terrace and private function room.

One thing that hasn’t changed is our commitment to serving exquisite French cuisine in a relaxed and welcoming environment.

We look forward to welcoming you to our new home.
