The service we received from the first moment...More
A late afternoon with lunch missed and tea too far away to wait. We are in, having enjoyed the take-out fish and chips many times; result.
We were greeted with enthusiasm and all the staff made the right amount of fuss of us and small...More

It is only a Saturday and Sunday that the gluten free batter is offered , however there are gluten free options available all week . Chips , curry, gravy, sausages , beer, dessert and also you can have the fish steamed or grilled . The reason gluten free batter can not be guaranteed during the week is due to busyness . The fryers are emptied and cleaned everyday however if there are busy times ( which are quite often during the week) both fryers are used and so despite being able to offer the gluten free batter , the oil would be contaminated from the regular batter. You can call up prior to your visit and a member of staff will let you know if it is possible to do a gluten free fish if it has been quiet and both fryers have not been used , but it is only Saturday and Sunday that it is guaranteed . hope this helps
