We arrived at the tearooms around 1:45 and was told their would be a 10min wait. No problem. We were seated, our order was taken two Queen Teas, out tea was brought, then we waited and waited and waited. We had been their an hour and no food had yet arrived,(a table of 4 had been seated after us, had... More

Took my wife for a birthday treat and had a wonderful afternoon. My wife thought it was absolutely perfect and the food was amazing. All the staff were extremely helpful and friendly even catering for my wife's dietary requirements. The Gentleman's Tea was out of this world. We loved quirkiness of the Alice in Wonderland / Mad Hatters tea party... More

Busy Sunday afternoon, managed to get a table for two upon arrival, mixed clientele and very friendly staff. We both had the cheese and onion pie which was probably one of the best I've ever had; it took a while to arrive but this did not bother us as the place is a pleasure to be in. Highly recommended.

Had a lovely afternoon tea here with frieds on 21/10/16 Fab decor even from the outside. (I was a tad hard to find) We had booked in advance as it was for a special birthday. We were warmly greeted and shown to our table. The decor, fabrics used on cushions & upholstery are a real treat to the eye-as is the... More

Ive been coming here for several years. I've been for breakfast and lunch and enjoy the food as much as the quirky decor and fabulous service. The afternoon tea is wonderful so arrive with an empty stomach. This place is not ideal for anyone trying to diet as the deserts are unmissable.

This quaint tea rooms off the beaten track in Manchester is an exquisite find. The decor and atmosphere is so unique. It's only a small spot so be sure to book unless you're ok with an hour wait for a table. The separation between two rooms gives the best of both worlds. For people dining for lunch vs afternoon tea.... More

We had a delicious Queen's Tea at this quirky Alice in Wonderland themed restaurant. We all left feeling very full after a selection of sandwiches, cakes , mini quiche, bruschetta, scones with jam and cream and banoffi shots glass dessert. There is a wide menu choice for those who don't want afternoon tea. Check the website for menu and special... More

What a fab place, so quirky, proper crockery, very 1940s, a trip down memory lane! Probably best if you book, especially if there are more than two of you. We turned up on spec at 11.45am Friday, it was already very busy, great atmosphere. Attentive staff, fab food, especially the Afternoon Teas! A real mix of clientele......you couldn't feel anything... More

Had a lovely time!!! Booked a table (I recommend you do this - an hour wait on Saturday if not) for four people. Ordered 3 afternoon teas and one steak sandwich with chips. It was really nice and a fantastic atmosphere. Would definitely visit again. Staff were lovely and checked everything was OK with our food. They lost one star... More

A lovely, quirky place serving most fantasy-induced favourite teas/school dinners/comfort food in a bustling atmospheric set of rooms. I prefer the first room on the right (smaller and quirkier than the one further in). Eating alone the second time, I found some children's books on a shelf behind my seat and happily read Winnie the Pooh whilst waiting to order... More
