I prebooked a table for my hen party. We were seated in a lovely area but a smaller table was practically attached to ours so it was slightly uncomfortable as it almost seemed like the other table were part of our party. The cake I had was amazing and very large for the price. It wasn't overly busy but it... More

Myself and my mum were shopping in Manchester and fancied afternoon tea somewhere, after hearing a few good things off people I know we decided to go, was greeted by a really friendly member of staff and shown to our table ! Our waitress was really friend and chatty, the afternoon tea was great! She explained to us what was... More

Went there for a late breakfast on a sunday (around 11am), it wasn't too packed and we got a table straight away. A good selection of food, teas and coffees. My friend had the big Richmond Breakfast and was pleased with it; I had eggs royale and it was very good (good portion). I had one of their herbal tea... More

Finally visited after hearing lots of good things from friends and family. We went for the queens afternoon tea and were really impressed overall - the sandwiches, scones and trifle were lovely. The only bit which was slightly disappointing were the little cakes which were quite plain - an gel slice style cake and a chocolate square. Given the gorgeous... More

Usually very impressed with the venue. Have always enjoyed the food and what the managers have achieved. Sadly this visit was not the best for friends birthday too! Order was very long in waiting upon when reminding the staff. Took another colleague to come over and explain the order had been missed and not put thorough to kitchen. We were... More

Loved this place. Decor great very Alice in wonderland. Had a afternoon tea with bubbly. Had to wait for a seat as very busy on a Saturday afternoon and you can not book for 2. However did not wait as long as expected. Had a bit of a wait for our food but we were replenished with a free glass... More

Came today for my baby shower and loved it! We were in the conservatory section and thoroughly enjoyed the afternoon tea. The food was lovely and the cakes fab! Great that boxes provided to take home the excess. Already planning to return with my husband to treat him to the gentleman's afternoon tea-looks great for blokes!

Service was very slow and not friendly at all. I had the club which was thrown together with mayonnaise all in a blob in the middle. £3 for a small bottle of water and £3.80 for a tea! I didn't have cake after but three of my friends did and none of them enjoyed them. Oversweet and not nice texture.
