Visited here one Friday lunch time. Had the cod and chips offer for £6.99. First thing I noticed were that the table was sticky. Good sign.... When the food came the cod was piping hot but the chips were luke warm / cold. My friend had the same problem. Hot pie cold chips. Will go to wetherspoons next time...

Having just moved to the area I popped in here a couple of weeks ago when passing with friends and was surprised at the service from a city centre pub. The staff were very polite and helpful, food was great and really cheap as well which was surprising. Great variety of drinks available at the bar with the staff letting... More

We went to The Lost Dene 1/7/2016 we ordered our food and we really shouldn't have bothered. The portions were very small to say the least maybe the portion size befitting a three year old. Not only we're the portions small but were luke warm. The service at the bar was efficient and toilets ok. We won't be going.

Came in here yesterday with a group of friends (Wales euro match) & ended up staying to watch the boxing (what another great result for the day). Beer are cheap Amstel £3.05!! For a city centre pub this was cheap. Had a mixed plank which was great value for the price & delicious. Highly recommend loads of TVs with mixed... More

The food was really nice and the drinks prices are decent. Fantastic place to watch the football as many screens and even some tables have their own smaller screen. Def one of my best finds.

This was the only pub that eventually opened to let us watch the match, and even then it was 10am. Lots of TVs for sport. The sound wasn't great and crackled so they couldn't turn it up. It's an offset weatherspoons so drinks are cheap (slightly more than normal spoons prices), and also food similar but lower quality. A good... More

We came for lunch here and it was not the best experience. The fish & chips were just ok... but better than the chicken salad though, which was very poorly prepared and with just literally 3 or 4 strips of chicken.Good thing we paid about 15 pounds in total...so it is cheap. Atmosphere was ok and I would say great... More

Nice to watch football and have a beer only, if that is what you fancy at that moment, for a couple of drinks after you have been in other places. Staff is ok. Not suitable for kids or families with young children (which sometimes is good to be in places with grown up people only)
