We had spent the day in various other bars and a little shopping and had lunch elsewhere so didn't feel hungry till late. We booked for 10pm at around 9.30. We got one of the last tables in this small but popular eatery. Food was good, as was the wine and service. Can see why it's popular. Nice atmosphere and... More

Our table was booked for 8pm but they couldn't seat us until 8:45. The food was great but we are disappointed by not only the poor service but the lack of apology for the delay. Would come back in a smaller group

We only stopped by for a few beers on the shaded terrace, but were greeted by very friendly staff, whom facilitated a very relaxing and enjoyable experience!

Visited on a Wednesday evening and restaurant was buzzing with many diners taking advantage of outside tables. Even though we hadn't booked the restaurant accommodated us and staff were super friendly in doing so. We both had cod with bean purée and warm gazpacho - it was amazing. On noting that everyone sitting close to us ordered the cauliflower cheese... More

Since I last visited Manchester, this long neglected corner of the city appears to have been revitalised with the old warehouse and mercantile buildings turning into a range of interesting restaurants. TNQ sits on the old High Street in a beautiful red-brick building, refurbished to house a beautiful little traditional British restaurant with modern deign, crisp clean linen and a... More

Sunday at TNQ restaurant is such a treat. Could only manage 2 courses today ! I had Black pudding fritters on celeriac remoulade my partner had roasted beetroots with goats cheese and we both followed these with proper Sunday beef roast dinner which comes with a gravy boat as you can never have too much. The meal was perfect the... More

The staff are very polite and attentive .The food was cooked to perfection tasty and delicious. The restaurant is small well set out and friendly and I would imagine it is well frequented as it was very busy so I would recommend booking to save any disappointment.

We had a lovely meal here Friday. The staff were friendly and attentive and made some good beer recommendations for my boyfriend. We both had steaks which came cooked how we had specified. I hadn't had roasted bone marrow before so that was a new experience. I still can't decide if I liked it or not. The fat chips were... More

Booked to eat at TNQ for a post-spa experience. We were not disappointed. It was a Thursday evening and there was a special menu with 'all you can drink wine' which looked interesting. However, we ordered off the a la carte menu and both ended up having steak. The quality of meat and the standard of cooking were both excellent.... More
