Went with a group from work, worst choice ever. We understood it was more of a cafe environment but had been told the food was ok. Yes the eating area was basic but it was very cold we had to sit with coats on and some wouldn't take woolly hat off. The curry was bland and the rice was lukewarm... More

When the man behind the counter can call his customers by name it says alot as they keep going back,And when the food is so good you can understand why.Tasty food at the right price.

The restaurant itself is more a cheap and cheerful cafe. The fact it's always so busy is testament to the great fresh food prepared daily on the premises. I've only ever eaten the karahi lamb as it's the best I've ever had. I've travelled extensively around India, north, south, East and west and this is still the best! Just over... More

Went to Kabana on a Wednesday evening at 16.50, 40 minutes before closing (17.30pm) Had chicken biryani, chicken massala, pea keema and 2 garlic nan bread, which we shared between 2 of us ! The food was amazing ! I cook myself, and visit restaurants, but I had forgotten that experience of 'tasting every ingredient' and actually smelling the ingredients... More

The place doesn't look like much, but the curry is delicious and good value for money. The chickpea curry is a sure choice but the nehari is definitely worth a try.

Been to Kabana a few times for lunch when in Manchester. The service is quick and whilst the place is fairly basic, it doesn't try to be anything it's not. Portion sizes are good and the food is tasty and good value for money.

Had a chicken tikka skewer over white pilaf rice for 5GBP. Good place to grab some cheap eats as it opens early (from 9am) while most other places tend to start from 11/12.

I've been coming to this place for a very long time since childhood with dad uncle etc. It was one of the best back and still is even today. Was craving a kebana all of a sudden at work so I convinced my colleague to join me. Great food he loved it we both had lamb Karai on the bone... More

Incredible food, reasonable prices. You tend to get more when you takeaway. I highly recommend the Biryani which is the special on Friday.
