Waited almost 40 minutes for someone to take the order And another an hour for the meal to be served. Also they took advantage of the help to eat scheme and put their prices up and the most annoying thing is the service charge. Not...going there any more!!More

Food is moderate in taste however portions were not worth the price paid. It was a disappointment. Never again.

We visited Aladdins this week having first come here 5 years ago. It used to be packed but now there were just 6 tables of people on a Saturday night. The food used to be extremely tasty but we were disappointed that the prices have...increased by approximately 50%. It is now expensive when compared to other restaurants in the area. We ordered the Bameah which had very little lamb in it. The food is served quickly and the atmosphere is casual so the prices should reflect that. We will not be returning.More

As a couple and family we have been coming here for 20 years, for many years this was a fantastic restaurant, amazing food, good atmosphere, well worth the 100 mile round trip drive. However on visiting the restaurant on the 31st Dec 2019 we were...sadly let down. The place was empty other than one table upstairs, the ground floor room was freezing cold despite the heating being on, the staff were visibly unhappy and arguing, just a few feet away from us. The food was reasonable although the salad was far too salty, the falafels were overdone and the mujadara wasn't up to standard. Regardless, there is more to a meal out other than just the food, I don't spend close to £100 on a meal and £25 on transport to get to that meal to sit in a cold room with staff who didn't want to be there. The waitress was doing her best, so this is not a dig at her, however she did not get the support she needed. This is a management problem. To then charge the 10% "service charge" was a further slap in the face. I don't know what's gone wrong with Aladdin, but I will instead be visiting a very similar middle eastern restaurant a few yards down the road, where the staff are happy to see you and you don't freeze while dining. I advise you do the same.More

Been twice in past few months. First time with a group from work. This was quite a pleasant experience. Worked well being able to try each others fished. Service a little slow and hard to attract attention from staff. Second visit with my husband for...his birthday. Granted it was early evening but restaurant lacked atmosphere, probably exacerbated by uninterested staff. Starters were from sublime to ridiculous! 2 tiny chicken filo pastries (with no sauce which was sorely needed, since they were quite dry - and a large bowl of tabbouleh which to me has the ratio cracked wheat to parsley wrong - far too overpowering with parsley. We didn't feel we were best advised with accompaniments to our main dishes. Mine would have been too dry without the gravy from my husband's stew - and he would have been better served with rice rather than chips. But mixing and matching worked ok in the end!More

Fantastic venue for all sizes of groups - accommodated our party of 12 on a Saturday evening with no trouble. Busy restaurant, polite and helpful staff, not to mention insanely tasty food! Starters arrived quickly, everything was delicious and definitely super fresh. Salads were amazing,...recommend the chicken wings and the hummus also. Main courses were also incredible! Everyone in the party was very happy with their dishes - one was a little late, the staff sorted quickly and were very apologetic. No problem waiting for such tasty food! Staff gave us plenty of time to sit and chat without rushing us through courses or at the end of the meal. All such good value for money too. Will definitely be returning.More

Dined at this restaurant with my wife, sister and brother-in-law and had a really enjoyable evening. Never tried this cuisine before and we all loved it. We tried various dishes which were all very nice indeed. Great service, excellent food, reasonably priced and a lovely...ambiance too. Will dine there again soon.More

We were sorely disappointed after reading such good reviews on the Manchester Evdning News. I had the Shish kebab which was £10.50 for two sticks of meat which was very unsustainable. The rice was £3 and I dread to imagine how hungry I’d have come...away without ordering the rice along with the kebab. Service was within expected time limits, however due to language barriers the waitress brought the pitta bread out with the starter when we requested it to be with the mains. We asked for the bill and after waiting for 15/20 mins were slightly taken a back when told we had to go downstairs to pay by card...not sure why this couldn’t have been explained earlier?! When we went to pay and explained our issues, the boss was nice and said the £3.50 service charge could be taken off, however the service was the least of our issue..more the fact the food was something I could have got from the Asda ready meal section, if not made better myself for the price we paid. Glad we tried it but I wouldn’t go back and wouldn’t recommend.More

My kids are older so not sure, I'd be surprised if they don't as there are many families that go. Best call to check though.
