Enjoyed our dinner at the Red Lion. Friendly service and food was better than expected, well cooked and nicely presented. Glad we went there.

The appealing menu attracted us to the Red Lion, and did not disappoint. We started with a mushroom appetizer and followed that with steak and chips ,and a chicken with mushroom sauce dish. We all enjoyed our dinners and the cozy ambiance. There are not a lot of tables inside, so if you're lucky enough to get a seat, grab... More

Limited menu but great food. Ham eggs and chips, fantastic. Also there is a specials board with a different selection. Good selection of ales too.

Lovely pub and great staff but the food was actually less than average. Our girls order spag bolly and no parmesan was available? ???? The handcut chips weren't fresh. The burger was totally tasteless and the fish was pretty awful. New chef urgently required. Wouldn't recommend

Stopped in for a pint after traveling all day. Good pub food and relaxing atmosphere. The lady's bathroom was clean and great decor. Hope to go back again one day.

Our meal was OK, but not particularly memorable, both service and food. From the menu and presentation, the food looked a lot better than it tasted.

We found ourselves in the Red Lion on a quiet Friday afternoon. We went to the red lion as it had a rear carpark we could leave our bikes in. We had a lovely friendly greeting from the bar staff. Lovely cosy odd shaped rooms, the building obviously had lots of history. We ordered two main meals, which came and... More

Called in for late lunch and being Friday the Fish and chip special filled the bill. Lunch came with fresh bread, with generous tasty butter, plus tea or coffee in with the price. Excellent value for money and a little surprised we had the lounge to ourselves. Good menus and sweet choose with friendly service to try at a later... More

We came here to eat on our first evening in Chipping Campden. Having arrived at our rental cottage in the evening, we decided to wander off in search of supper. We passed the Red Lion and decided to give it a try. It was fairly busy and we didn't have a reservation but got a table no problem. The staff... More
