We were a party of ten adults and three children and had reserved their private room for a birthday celebration. The food was delicious, very good portions and the starters and main courses were enjoyed by all. The orders took some time but you can expect this when everything is cooked from fresh and beautifully presented. We could not have... More

Four of us went for lunch and we could not have been more delighted! The ambiance was enchanting, the service was warm and charming - the food was out of this world: two had scampi, one breaded haddock and I had the best salad I have ever eaten - salmon and prawn with a wonderful array of salad things!! Desserts... More

Had Roast beef cooked rare to perfection and so was the whole meal. Was asked how would I liked the beef, which was nice. Plenty fresh, good quality vegetables on separate serving dishes including a dish of delicious cauliflower cheese and a dish of finely cut red cabbage. One starter portion of whitebait was enough to share with lovely crusty... More

On a recent visit to Chipping Campden we came a crosse the Lygon Arm's board advertising their cream tea. The bar was busy with locals and visitors and atmospheric with its stone walls. We received a warm welcome and were promptly found a table. With their cream tea there us a choice of tea or coffee and fruit or plain... More

We made a reservation at this restaurant upon the recommendation of two folks staying at the hotel. If you are not staying in their hotel, it is challenging to get in. This is baffling because when we went, with a reservation, all the tables said reserved, but over the two hours we were there only about 1/2 ever had diners.... More

Busy pub with limited seating, offered to sit outside but would only be served evening meal once hotel guests had ordered. Spicy fries - mass produced curly fries available in most supermarkets, duck wrap wasn't as described. Good selection of Gins behind the bar a shame main restaurant part was not used to seat guests. Average wouldn't return

The Lygon Arms has a lovely atmosphere with very friendly staff. The food is excellent with ample choice on the menu. It is popular with locals and tourists and we enjoyed talking to people who live in Chipping Campden as well as visitors from America, Australia and France. It truly was an international evening and great fun! Everyone is welcome... More

After a long day of self driving/touring we were in need of a good meal, we enjoy our vegetables with our meal and the selection was good. Not much in for chips and food in batter. So the food and drinks were a welcome at the end of this day, Thanks.

Visited for Sunday lunch and booked a table for 7 of us at 2pm. Would recommend booking as this is very popular - for good reason. Several of us had the roast lamb which was lovely, plenty of meat on the plate and many different vegetables, all cooked to perfection. Staff were all really friendly and had a laugh with... More

A wide menu and wine list, and our choices proved very good. Starter, main course and large glass of wine came to £30 per head.
