Cosy old pub with good food

Lunched here on a busy Saturday, cold day and two fires going so cosy and warm. Friendly staff and comprehensive pub menu. Enjoyed large portions of well cooked quality food. Barmaid seemed new and didn't know much about glass sizes and wine but apart from that a nice place to have a cosy winter... read more

A beautiful setting in an old hall, with excellent food and good, friendly service. Highly recommended.

During a weekend stay in chipping Campden we wanted to eat out for Sunday dinner. There was a family group of us, with children. They made us very welcome, we had the dining room mostly to ourselves, we were made comfortable even down to putting music on to our liking. All food was cooked fresh as we had to wait... More

The night we arrived in Chipping Campden was lateish and our appetites crying out so our host suggested the Lygon Arms as a place where we might get a good meal and she was right! We had a "Ploughman's Platter" each but one would have done the both of us but it was soooo good we stretched ourselves and nearly... More

We spent a night in the Lygon Arms Hotel during a driving tour of the Cotswolds. Our suite was one of the newest to be added to the hotel, and it was quite nice! It was very nicely appointed and was properly wired for the number of electronic gadgets with which we travel. Our party had dinner in the hotel's... More

A nice cosy country pub with what seems to be a seasonal menu that changes regularly. Portion sizes were overwhelmingly big. I really liked the selection of vegetables that accompanied my meal, but I was put off by the quantity of meat served up on my plate - it was just too much! (Some people won't see this as a... More

We arrived on a very busy afternoon. The hostess was so accommodating, putting chairs and table together for our group amidst a crowd. Tea, coffee, and a variety of sandwiches were enjoyed by all. Happy to return!!

We had few drinks while visiting Chipping Campden & had a good time. The place is cute with the atmosphere of a typical village bar. The staff was friendly. They had few local beer options which we enjoyed thoroughly. The parking was also nearby so no issues there. We did not try any food but would give it a go... More

We went to the Lygon as a family of 7 adults and 3 children tonight (Christmas eve) and had a wonderful evening. From the moment we arrived we were treated like royalty by the the young ladies behind the bar. After ordering drinks we were shown to a small private room which was very cosy and welcoming and the drinks were brought...
