We try to pop into Badgers Hall when visiting the Cotswolds because I am addicted to the Cheese and Herb Scones! They are just perfect, served with fresh filter coffee! Can't wait until next time!

Stopped in for a glass of wine but we stayed for delicious soup and scones plus a gorgeous dessert (pudding). We sat in the small but quaint back garden and enjoyed good service and delicious food. Reasonably priced.

The efficiency of service had improved since we were last here though some of the staff could be a little more smiley. Scones and cakes were good and the tea came with hot water and plenty of milk. The cafe was open until 5 on a Saturday, which was good as the other tearoom shuts at 4.30. Although the door... More

Deliciously cooked food & licensed to sell alcohol. From sandwiches to hot pots...all presented beautifully & reasonably priced. Huge selection of cakes & afternoon tea available. Popular with locals & tourists so can get busy! Well worth a visit if you can get a table.

We were about to leave for home, having checked out of our rented cottage, and we needed breakfast. It was 8.30am and most places weren't yet open. We came across Badger's Hall and although it said 'closed' on the door we went in as we saw people inside. It turned out that it was only serving breakfast for residents but... More

I booked several weeks ahead for afternoon tea for my friends birthday. We travelled two hours for this as I was recommended to visit. No note of the booking and told to just sit at a table that needed to be cleared. I told the waitress I had booked afternoon tea but she clearly had other things on her mind.... More

Barbara, I know you telephoned the day after and spoke to Paul and he without hesitation offered you a return visit with our compliments we were both up-set to hear of your experience in our absence on the day. We too were extremely disappointed that your visit had not been a happy one. Hopefully the flowers have put us in... More

If you are an "affluent Badger" on a diet, and are satisfied with some staff that have no enthusiasm for the job, this is the place to have lunch. Ours was served outside in what they describe as a Garden. It consisted of a couple of "bench type" picnic tables and a few "cast iron " tables and chairs placed... More

Being clearly disappointed by your first impression, its left us wondering why you stayed. Chipping Campden offers many eateries offering variety and choice for all who visit. No one can please every-one all of the time, we do however have a good return of customer who think our courtyard garden is lovely and our food not too bad either More

Great little tearoom with a good lunchtime menu too. I recommend the cottage pie and house salads. Staff are friendly and the place has a great atmosphere to it.

We stopped here for a drink and cakes with our daughter and 3 dogs. The sunny courtyard was very pleasant and the service excellent. The cakes were great but the ginger cake was divine!
