We've been in almost every restaurant in CC and I'm glad we ignored all the negative comments and listened to the positive responses on TripAdvisor. Our waitress Monique was fantastic. I think she had a crush on my husband. She was on top of everything and we could not have asked for better service. The restaurant serves northern Italian style... More

Pretensions towards Italian cuisine but not really hacking it. Tolerable but I would not rush back. There is much better available in Chipping Campden.

In what is an expensive area, Caminetto is reasonably priced and provides a cosy little restaurant atmosphere for diners. Staff are pretty informal but very attentive and the food, whilst not being outstanding in any way is tasty and well prepared.Pork escalopes and Chicken Milanese were both good and the pasta starters worked very well with a wide range from lasagne... We chose to eat at Caminetto as we both enjoy Italian cooking and we weren't disappointed. The food was excellent and the service was quietly efficient and friendly. The tiramasu deserves a special mention. It was light, rich and full of flavour. We would certainly recommend eating at Caminetto and would advise you to book a table if at all... More

WE happened to walk in without reservation, or verification. Classical Italian menu, but not a good surprise. The Prosciutto and Melone was with unripened fruits and a ton of thickly cut smoked ham, the pasta was overcooked and the sauce not very good,. I would give this one a pass. Or maybe it was a bad night with a replacement... More

We chanced upon this Amongst other hostelries and turned out to be a good choice. Appeared to be family run as is frequently the case with Italian. Food and service was very good. Plenty of choice and no rush to move you along.
