Very COVID compliant . Disposable menu . Tasty fare , if a little expensive. The ham sandwiches have the same ham as is sold in the shop. Home made . Lovely coffee. Well presented . Take time to look around their Farm Shop .

Went for Lunch today - very COVID compliant. Had the steak pie 🥧 Was lovely- couldn’t squeeze a desert in but went to the farm shop next door and got takeaway. Also bought a couple of pies to take away as well as amazing sirloin...and Rib Eye Steak. Sandwiches looked amazing and Mum in law lived the Lasagne. Going to book for an afternoon tea next tine - well worth a visit 👍👍👍More

It's not oftenI award five stars, but here we are ! My wife and i were driving South on the A.1 and were looking for a lunch stop. By the power of the internet I picked Marr Grange at random as it was going to...match our time/distance to go requirements. What a lucky choice ! Pleasant surroundings, polite staff and good quality food. My wife had quiche with new potatoes and veg. I had the ploughmans platter. Great quality locally sourced ingredients, good portion sizes and nice relaxed atmosphere. I read that the 'poor' ratiings seem to relate to the reservations system. We did not phone ahead, and there was a note on the door saying bookings only.I assume this was to help them with their COVID screening, but they were more than happy to seat the two of us on spec. My wife and I were so pleased with our choice I think it may be a regular stop when we are using the A.1. There are aslo plans apparently to enlarge the restaurant area and the car park for what is obviously a popular place.More

Love the produce and friendly service and quality produce in this shop, try and go every week for fresh produce, they have Covid procedures in place which limits the amount customers inside at anytime making it a more relaxing atmosphere for people who feel vulnerable...at these strange times.More

It looked like a tiny farm shop, but the range of produces are better than some large shops. Particularly the deli counter, cheese counter and the butchers, great range, fresh and homemade, competitively priced.

We haven’t been to the cafe but have recently started going to the farm shop to stock up on a monthly basis. The importance for a personal service and good customer service is evident here, they have it just right. The produce is excellent! I’m...not sure I can say much more and do it justice - you just have to visit and experience it for yourself!More

We visited today for Xmas lunch - it was a lovely meal and very well presented. We both had prawn cocktail to start with which was really nice and then turkey and all the trimmings - plenty of meat which was cooked to perfection and...the vegetables weren't over cooked, it was lovely. My partner had xmas pudding with rum sauce which was nice and rich and I had sherry trifle - it could have done with just a drop more sherry in it, but was very nice. A really reasonable price £21.95 for 3 courses, including tea or coffee. Thanks to all the staff who were friendly and obliging.More

We visited on recommendations of a friend. We didn't eat but the restaurant looked busy and there was plenty of cars in the car park. The shop is well stocked meats and deli type products.
