Had breakfast this morning been visiting for 20 years the Chutneys were always a delight and a welcome addition to the meal beware the fruit one is now changed to Curry favoured. Not what I expect or should be served in such a traditional tea shop I did ask the Manager Owner about it but this is the new recipe... More

The time it takes to have a breakfast cooked is ridiculous, you get your pot of tea, and by the time the meal comes, its gone cold, mentioned to manager, who did not seem to care. Dont order drinks until meal comes, and be prepared to wait, I waited 30 minutes for my breakfast

Great food and plenty of it. Yes, its a tad pricey but you really get what you pay for. Always busy so if you want to go in your lunch hour at work its not really doable. Reminds me of Bettys tearooms. Highly recommend.

We went in with the family on a Saturday shopping trip to Doncaster. It was very busy, but the staff we're really friendly and helpful and managed to fit us in. All I can say is the food we ordered was tasty and fresh and considering how busy they were was served quickly. The staff were nothing but professional, friendly and... More

Excellent afternoon tea. No need to pre-book (unlike many others in the area) Afternoon tea consists of two types of sandwiches, salad, crisps, a HUGE scone with cream and jams. The scones are so big that we cut it into 4! This is per person. Good selection of teas and coffees

I visited with my friend and her toddler for an early lunch. Decor is a little dark, but pleasant. We ordered a cheese and pickle toastie, scrambled eggs with smoked salmon on toast and a slice of toast for the little one. We also had a pot of tea each. The tea wasn't particularly hot, but it was ok. The... More

Very nice restaurant clean, tidy and very tastefully furnished. Good warm welcome from very polite staff, hot drinks very nice, good quality. Choice of food on menu was again good with a specials board to choose food from as well. Food was served in a reasonable time, well presented and most enjoyable, and cost was good value. Would not hesitate... More

Visited Woods Tea Rooms for Afternoon Tea with family. A great treat, well presented, great taste. Lovely sandwiches and delicious scones, served by a lovely girl, Rachel. Well worth the money. Had the lower value tea priced £9.95 plenty to eat... The £11.95 tea had choice of cake, would have been too much. Great tea. Would recommend and will visit... More
