On previous visits to Lancaster, we have enjoyed calling in at Amy's for our mid-morning or afternoon snack. Always a nice selection and very reasonable prices. Hoping we'll be able to call in when you re-open.

We popped in for breakfast. My husband had a full English and I had the gluten free version. The decor was a little dates but it was quiet, friendly, the service quick and the food was great.

A lovely little cafe in Lancaster town centre, in the back street away from the crowds, next to the Bible Book Shop.

Waitress plonked our plates down without a word and walked off. Tried to get her attention a few times. We weren't offered any sauces etc. Bacon 'baguette' was just a white roll. Thought it was pricey too at £3.50 a slice of cake?

Popped in for a quiet coffe and found the cakes unappetising and after seeing the toast which was burnt black served to another customer, we didn't try the food.

We happened upon Amy's recently, and in need of a break we went in. It was quiet, one other couple in there. We approached the counter to be greeted, and perused the cakes. Choosing our cakes and coffee we sat down. The order was brought...More
