Went for lunch today for my son’s 20th birthday. He commented on the middle aged male clientele when we arrived! As regards the surroundings, we couldn’t fault it - very different and atmospheric, although the toilets could do with a revamp. My daughter had the...More

Stopped for lunch, the menu is extensive and a fair price. The ambience is very nice and the service was very good. If you are having lunch have the smaller portion as it is quite enough just for a lunch.

Absolutely charming little place. Very cool aesthetic with the converted cellars look. Almost looks like a hobbit hole from out front. Nice staff and decent prices, lovely place to stop on your way to/from the castle or priory.

What a superb little venue. Tucked away near Lancaster castle, this gorgeous bar lets you enjoy your beers and wine in the cellars. Plenty of choice. I didn't have time to indulge in a pie (a bargain at £4 each) - when I saw them...More
