Was going to the theatre and dropped in to 1725 for a pre theatre meal. The Happy hour tapas are not only a bargain, but were the best tapas I've had in a long time. Simple recommendation - go there, it's great, and the service...More

Had my birthday dinner last Friday in the private function room and everything was really great! Very good food, great service... overall really lovely birthday dinner! Thank you 1725! The restaurant can manage big groups of 25-ish very well :)

We were staying in the Holiday Inn and were recommended here. 8 of us had a great time - lovely staff rushing around getting us things and acoomodating my elderly father. The food is small dishes - order enough and you are fine. We loved...More

Good to enjoy a bottle of wine with friends but don't ask for wine recommendations from staff, trust your own judgment!!!! Food awful.

1725 is a tale of two halves - front of house is delightful, with a lively restaurant set out inside an old building, serving a good range of well made tapas dishes at okay prices. We went on a deal night - buy 5 dishes...More

Had lunch here, opted for the three tapas dishes for £9.99 menu. Lovely setting in the old stone building but the food was only average. Not much flavour, had better tapas elsewhere. The staff were friendly but I think we'll try somewhere different next time.

Our family called in here for an unplanned lunch during a very short stop in Lancaster. To say we were pleasantly surprised is an understatement. A lovely, bright entrance, leading to a very impressive bar and dining area, and then to be greeted by friendly,...More

Great atmosphere and a wonderful selection of Tapas dishes, the staff are friendly and there's plenty of seating. It's a great place to have a light snack and drink before heading off to the Vue cinema which is next door.

A decent tapas restaurant made better than average by a lovely setting in a quaint old building and also by friendly and welcoming service. The food is probably a little above acerage but the experience overall was really good.

The newly refurbished 1725 brings alive the charm of this 17th century building with 21st century decor.
Traditional Spanish tapas dishes are freshly made in our kitchens and the full menu is available daily from 12 until 11pm, with additional specials nightly and Spanish Sunday roasts.
Whether you like to eat informally, as part of a group or as a formal sit-down meal then 1725 caters to your needs with different seating areas and dining rooms.
Alternatively, our extensive wine menu, with almost 30 wines available by the glass and our rotation of cask ales and continental beers make 1725 an ideal place to visit for a drink and a lighter bite from the tapas counters.
