Popped in for brunch before exploring Lancaster. All 3 of us had the full English breakfast - good quality local produce and even managed decent scrambled eggs! Decent value with coffee included. Would visit again!

The selection of real ales is great, if you like ale and don't mind paying a little extra it's a great place to drink. The atmosphere is good and the decor is really nice, even the outside space is a nice place to sit when the sun's out. However the service was a little lacking. We asked to have a... More

Ate here a few weeks ago and the service was slow, it took 2 hours to have a main course and pudding. As we were staying at The Borough we ate there the first night as we had been driving all day. The service was slow once again, another 2 hours of my life I won't get back. We sat... More

Had the school meals offer and was surprised at how lovely the food was for the price. The sponge pudding and ice cream were yummy. Thank you.

Very busy night due the days graduations ..... The service was very attentive considering how many people were there. There was a special menu that really hit the spot.... Three courses plus a glass of bubbly for £22. We really like it here as the food choice is quite wide and reliably high quality... Top end pub food at its... More

We popped into the borough today for a spontaneous lunch time treat with our son. The staff fitted us in despite their busy me ahead with the graduation events in Lancaster. Food was excellent, I can recommend the sea bass. Staff were helpful, things were getting busier as we left, hope the afternoon went well for you all.

Thank Denise B
