I visited here with a friend at the weekend for afternoon tea. I love afternoon tea so was really looking forward to it. Unfortunately I was really disappointed. The service was prompt and waiter/waitresses were really polite, however the afternoon tea leaves a lot to be desired. The sandwiches were ok, the savouries (as the menu stated) were teeny tiny... We booked in for 10 of us ro have afternoon tea for my mums 50th birthday on Saturday at 5:30. The group ranged from 23 to 52 years old and we all had an equally lovely time.. the lady who I believe owned the tea room greeted us and showed us to our table.. she made a few jokes and... More

Visited at the weekend with two friends just looking for a cup of tea and some cake. On arrival (we hadn't booked) it appeared very busy and the waitress didn't appear to know whether we could be seated or not at first however a table was just leaving so we were able to squeeze in there. We ordered a large... More

I visited Vinteas with my sister, who recently had an operation, as a little treat. What a treat it was. Lovely afternoon tea presented on fine bone china, with every place setting being different. Vast selection of teas to choose from. I had Jasmine and my sister had rose petal. The food was plentiful. In fact we had to take... More

Visited Vinteas with friends for afternoon tea. A huge choice of teas to choose from but I always go for the white hot chocolate... it's delicious!!! Lovely choice of sandwiches and mini quiches followed by massive scones which come with clotted cream and jam and then a choice of cake - chocolate, carrot, coconut and jam, coffee, red velvet, lemon... Love the set up of the business and how the cafe looks inside and out but the service let's it's down. No friendliness from staff or welcome. Food is average, nothing special - no options of how you like your eggs cooking. Felt rushed to leave and not offered any drinks after we ate. Disappointing visit.

My initial impression of this place was good, the decor was appealing and what you would expect for afternoon tea. Unfortunately, the ambience was quickly ruined by the waiting staff, particularly the manager. One of our group was vegetarian; the request for vegetarian sandwiches was met with disdain as this was not made known before our arrival. Hardly an earth-shattering... More

Visited here with a large group of friends and I would never ever return again. The lady that seemed to run the place was nothing but rude and made the whole group uncomfortable, therefore ruined the whole experience for my friends and I. They made us all rush our food, yet were happy taking all of our money. I wish... More

We had my friends baby shower at Vinteas and the service we received was not great. The food was ok but not alot of it for what you pay for. Also you receive a slice of cake at the end and not numerous small cakes which is what we expected. The service we received from the owner was awful and... More

Over priced and over rated.....not much choice of selection cakes nor drinks. Food that came out certainly wasn't anything spectacular. Bit fake vintage decor, won't be returning sadly.

Description
Vintea's tearoom was opened in Park Street, Leamington Spa in May 2012, by Sam & Mary Morris. It is a quintessentially English tea room, providing a large selection of award winning loose leaf teas and coffees, locally baked cakes, scones, breads and paninis, all served on vintage china. Vinteas has a very relaxed informal atmosphere, the Nina Campbell Parakeet wallpaper is an excellent foil for Annie Sloan painted furniture and the 'vintage' music playing gently in the background helps complete the scene. So come for breakfast , brunch, lunch ... Or try one of our popular Afternoon Teas.
