Ate at Pizza Express with a voucher from sainsburys nectar card, voucher applied to the classics pizza, when they arrived Pizza was very small, base was hard, and the topping was so paltry, we struggled to spot anything on it, when we asked the waitress she seemed to agree and said it's standard potions in all the chain. The drink... More

First visit to a Pizza Express. We visited just after 12 noon on a Wednesday and had to book a table and come back 30 minutes later. We had a voucher which gave us 2 free classic pizzas, so we only had to pay for 2 coffees. The food we had was delicious and the coffee was very nice. The... More

Terrible! Went on a Sat nite for my 60th birthday, sat outside, as we had a dog. 3 sets of cutlery in a container on the table, but only 1 napkin. Ordered thin Salami Pizza and a side salad with dressing. It arrived, no dressing on the salad apart from the tiniest drip! The pizza was cold, and it was... More

My partner and I ate at this restaurant on a Friday night at around 7pm. The food was fantastic - we both had garlic bread, a pizza and a dessert which were all very enjoyable. The service was fairly good. It was very busy but still fairly quick. The only issue we had was that the waiter forgot to get... More

Pizza Express restaurants can vary so much but this is a good one. Warm welcome and excellent service. There are always offers on so it is better to book as we have been disappointed when they are full. Parking free on local streets after 6pm

Had a really good evening. We had to wait a while for our table, however the staff were apologetic and very accommodating. The food was lovely and reasonably priced. The friendliness of the staff really made the night a good one. Definitely great to see such good service. Would recommend to people looking for a bite to eat in Preston.

Visited on the very hot Tuesday evening this July, it was a blessing to get out of the warm into the air conditioning. We arrived without booking at about 530pm, it was fairly quiet. We couldn't decide what to drink so the server let us try some of the summer watermelon juice drink which we didn't actually end up ordering.... More

First experience of Pizza Express, probably the last. Table was dirty, menus were dirty, starter of doughballs I could probably pick up at asda for 50p, my pizza was burnt around the edges and swimming in oil so the base was soggy. My partner ordered a bottle of beer, the only one they serve, Peroni and was greeted with a... More

Visited Friday 24th June 2016. On arrival we were seated as requested with a table at the back nothing was too much trouble. We had a fantastic waiter by the name of Richard who also recommended the super food salad and he described it in great detail, so my friend and I ordered it with the salmon option. It looked... My friend and I needed somewhere to eat that offered simple good quality food and was near to Preston station. We had, had a difficult day of meetings and then we both had a train journey to endure. We didn't want any surprises. Well we were surprised, in a great way. The staff were efficient and helpful. The chef made... More
