My friend and I had afternoon tea, the sandwiches were nice and fresh (in some restaurants they are made before and are stale from hanging around) I did not like egg so asked for a alternative sandwich which was replaced by cheese. Enjoyed the mini steak Pattie, also cakes were moist and tasty. I have not been here for many... More

We visited The Walled Garden on Sunday with 2 friends, we all had afternoon tea, with the men having the Gentleman's afternoon tea. It was lovely, well presented, tasty & very filling! The service was first class. As we arrived there was tasteful live music, which created a lovely atmosphere. This was our first visit, we will definitely go back... More

We have been to The Walled Garden on many occasions and thoroughly enjoyed it, however on this occasion I am sorry to say this was not the case. Firstly due to an unforseen circumstance we had to ring and put the time of our booking back by 2 hours. We got through to the hotel side as the restaurant side... More

Recently taken out to lunch here and was very impressed with the nosh - huge portions of fish and chips, with the appropriate peas, were well cooked, piping hot and very tasty. We had a couple of large wines with our meal and would certainly recommend to anyone travelling near Preston going north.

Took my best friend for afternoon tea and it was delicisou, beautifully presented and very tasty. The glass of Prosecco was the icing on the cake...so to speak. Lovely staff, excellent service, plenty of parking, highly recommended.

I have just returned from what i can only describe as a very disappointing experience. I booked afternoon tea in the walled garden restaurant after seeing it advertised on their website. I ordered the walled garden afternoon tea. However, when it arrived i was extremely disappointed. On the website it was advertised as being served on a minature picnic table... More
