We come to the Malabar once a month as a family gathering. The staff are always super polite and can't do enough to help you or get you anything you need. The food is the best around, nothing is too much trouble.

Curry clubs visit to Malabar was a disappointment to say the least, after a few good recommendations from different sources, the meal was not very spicy at all, and two sent theirs back with lack of chicken and being cold, the staff were fine, but I don't think we will be going back there in a hurry, and it didn't start of well with... For the past five years I have organised a Curry Night for a group of my motorsport friends .. So this was our fifth visit to The Malabar.. The resturant are always happy to let us have exclusive use of their upstairs area (not sure they could give us exclusive use on a Friday or at the weekend).. They provide... More

Lovely atmosphere and friendly staff. I had no problems ordering gluten free food. Possibly the best food I have ever tasted - perfectly balanced and expertly cooked. They have a licence but allow you to take your own drinks too. I wouldn't change a thing!

Another faultless takeaway from the malabar. Lamb Dhansak with fresh naan bread and my wife's usual king prawn veg balti. Considering the food has to be transported here and then we microwave it and it still tastes good means it must be fantastic served fresh on the table. Top marks again.

Walked in with my partner to grab a late night takeaway after a busy day, staff friendly at the bar where we placed our order and food was quickly bought out. Food was tasty and loved the Garlic Naan, my partner had a madras and said was hottest he's had anywhere but so tasty will try sitting in next time.

We dine here at least twice each month. The food is always excellent and the waiters are really friendly. There is convenient parking right outside the door. We do try different restaurants occasionally but really the Malabar is hard to beat.

Been here a few times after moving to the area recently. Food is excellent and haven't been disappointed at all with the food as there is a great menu and every dish I've had has been hot and tasty. My only gripe is that on weekends especially they like to turn the tables quickly leaving you feeling your being watched... More

Have been here before about eighteen months ago and had a decent experience despite one of our main meals having to be sent back because it was cold. On this occasion seven of us went on a Saturday night. The restaurant was extremely busy and we were seated upstairs in the small room next to the toilets, not a good... More
