Popped in for breakfast, staff seemed miserable and disinterested, didn't have to wait to long for the food, which was oil drenched and didn't have any flavour at all, continental was ok but not a lot of options, bread was stale and wasn't restocked when empty. Tables left dirty for entirety of our visit will not be returning....

I feel I'm being a bit unfair giving the Rising Sun only 2/5 because technically it was perfect, insofar as they didn't do anything wrong. Nevertheless I just didn't like it and I wouldn't go back. Upon walking through the door you can see the most lacklustre carvery I've ever seen. It looks like someone left a joint of beef... More

Booked a table for 10 people, food all came out at the wrong time, starters with mains etc. Waited 20 mins to order drinks as only one member of bar staff. Some deserts just didn't turn up so were cancelled and refunded. Food was nice but service was appalling!

Have been here several times, it's a popular after work venue if you don't want to spend much. It wasn't busy, a few family groups but it had a negative affect on us waiting for food. 20 minutes for starter, 30 minutes for main. The manager was very apologetic and offered free dessert which was declined due to time restraints.... More

The restaurant was disgusting. Despite asking several times to book a table I was told there was no need to, then when we went for a meal they could not fit us in as they claimed they where full (lots of empty tables that hadn't been cleared). Extremely poor service with staff who denied speaking to me 5 mins earlier,... More

Booked only for convenience as it was attached to the Premier Inn and we didn't want the hassle of going elsewhere after a long afternoon at the wonderful Harry Potter Studios. The male member of staff that, eventually, served us was sullen and unhelpful, not even offering an apology for us queuing to place a drink/food order for over 15... More

Greasy unhealthy food. Prepared by amateurs. Even breakfast wasn't great as they served stale croissants. Friendly staff, nothing wrong with that. Guess I just don't like the traditional poor quality of British food.

A quick visit after work was rewarded with very tasty food (spinach and feta lasagne) and excellent customer service from Tyler. Will definitely visit again as so many deals on it doesn't have to be expensive.

We visited this restaurant last week. We have recently moved to the area and wanted to try it. Menu has a good range and they have themed nights. Food was standard quality slight wait. Nice for a one off meal.

Thank Gregg M
