Visited last weekend with some friends and our three children. We had a great experience - the welcome was warm and we were given a great table and the children provided with pictures and crayons to keep them entertained whilst we perused the menu. It...More

Hi, Thanks for taking the time to comment. The Prosecco supply issue has now been resolved and a fresh delivery is arriving on Thursday. The rose you mention is also a Prosecco, apologies it wasn't to your friends taste. Regards.

Service was incredibly slow( waited 20 minutes until we got asked what we wanted to drink) and staff weren't even friendly , felt like they couldn't be bothered . No roasts left at all and this was only at 4:30. Food quality wasn't great -...More

We arrived 1:55 on a Sunday ordered food and drinks. Drinks and nibbles came fairly quickly. Waited for mains more than 1 hour, then 1 of the mains arrived and was eaten, still no sign of other 2 mains at which point we decided enough...More

After deciding on this venue due to Locality and food options - disappointing and poor service comes to mind. Service was very slow. Although staff were friendly, we had to repeat our requests for water and to have the dirty dishes cleared multiple times. I...More

I had heard that this pub was great for a family meal. I can't believe in October in an indoor venue I would be dealing with masses of flies around me. I am talking about 10s of flies constantly around us. I feel like either...More

Great local pub. comfortable chairs in the Library area. Nice atmosphere, welcoming staff and very nice food. The home made hummus is delicious, tasty home made soup. We had the butchers steak, it was well presented and flavoursome. A great local restaurant.
