We decided to give this restaurant a try after reading the reviews on Trip advisor. What a lovely little find. Our whole experience from start to finish was wonderful. The service from all the staff was so attentive. The food was delicious and the peshwari naan was amazing. Would highly recommend this place and we will definitely return the next... More

I googled places close to where I was staying, and the reviews on Tripadvisor made me try this restaurant. Luckily it wasn't disappointing. I got there early as I needed to be finished to go get back to the hotel, so the restaurant was empty, but that meant that my food was also prepared quickly. I asked for recommendations (I... More

We were in the area after visiting friends a few miles away, and decided to complete our trip with a visit to Saffron. We have eaten here before, but not for some time. And just as before, we weren't disappointed. The staff made us feel genuinely really welcome, they purposely went out of their way to add that little personal... More

Some of my family members rate this among their top ever restaurants! There are a couple of its dishes to rave over, apparently. One is a spicy Paneer curry. For me, with a much more conventional taste for delicately flavoured foods and Kurmas, Saffron also offers a few tempting meal choices. For a group of four, each with different preferences... More

We now have this as our regular Indian Restaurant, it is so friendly the food is great. Even if we can't get there and order a take away the service and food is still great. Would highly recommend this place as the best Indian in Watford.

We were staying at The Grove on a golf break and wanted to eat outside of the hotel, this restaurant is only a 5 minute taxi ride so looked ideal. We went on a Sunday evening and it was very quiet but the service was very good and friendly. Food was excellent they were able to do a chicken tikka... More

I've been eating at Saffron for many years, both in the restaurant and more often than not take away. I like to think of my self as a bit of a curry conasure as it is one of my favorite foods and have been to countless different restaurants all over the country. Saffron is right up there with the best.

Lovely meal, very tasty and good service. We are visiting from the north and decided last minute to pop out to our friends local curry house, we all enjoyed our food, thank you.

My friend and i visited tonight and had yet another amazing meal. Their flavours are so fresh and authentic and the quality of the dishes is outstanding. I had the Chicken Karahi which i have tried at many others restaurants and none have matched the dish here. My friend asked for something that had previously been on the menu and... More

Description
Watfords Saffron is a popular and sophisticated Indian restaurant serving unusual regional dishes alongside classic curries and just a ten minute walk from the Warner Brothers Harry Potter Studio Tour. The traditional interior, with crisp white tablecloths, dark wooden chairs and white walls decorated with Indian wooden carvings and artworks, is busy with couples and groups in the evenings and increasingly with enthusiastic sightseers keenly dissecting their day spent on the pavements of Hogsmeade. Saffrons menu is a lengthy selection of fine Indian classics from throughout the countrys many and varied culinary regions. Delicately put together by the kitchens skilful team, dishes are distinctive and authentic, spiced the spices ground and mixed freshly each day - and cooked according to tradition whether originating from the sun drenched shores of Goa or from the southern fringes of Bangladesh.
