Had a really lovely time here at the wharf The food is very nice and staff very pleasant. The place itself is very pleasing on the eye you feel very comfortable. It has an outside seating area too. Kids welcome

Went there on Sunday for lunch with my family. There was a total of 13 (including 2 children and 1 baby) as well as 2 dogs. We were accommodated inside which was nice as it is very rare these days to find somewhere to eat that allows dogs inside. We ordered the food separately but asked for it to be... More

We went to lunch today four adults 3 children aged 1 to 7 and a baby. All but the baby ordered food. Service was inadequate. One of the children's meals didn't come then they said we didn't order it but they gave us the drink for it so we definitely ordered it. That wasn't a big deal but then when... More

Absolutely terrible in all regards. 3 Shepherd name beers in a Shepherd name pub that proudly proclaims it's heritage of bristains oldest brewer everywhere but doesn't actually stand behind its own beers (!) and only serves mass market lagers. So £4.60 for a Pimms, glass half full and 25ml of Pimms. The most terrible Pimms I've ever been served. On... More

Want to feel like your on holiday, here is the place. Overlooking the water - sun shining and a few drinks or eats out on the sun deck. The food was at a great standard, the staff were very helpful. We even spoke to the Manager who was entertaining. We took our dog, who was able to also go in... More

Staff come across very arrogant. Felt like they really didn't want to be working there. Food was over priced and horrible. I had the crab, avocado & Spring onion ciabatta. there was hardly anything inside the ciabatta. my friends did not enjoy their meal either. The menu sounds a lot more appetising then it actually is. Only good thing is... More

I work on the estate and tend to visit the Wharf during the Summer months because of the good setting by the lakes. I don't often eat here however as found the lunch menu limited. Me and y colleagues visited for lunch and on this occasion the menu was different & the pitta bread filled with Brie & Chicken, Salad... More

Great out door space Out the way type of pub Selection of beers not great, shepherd & neame pub. Maybe they might invest in some gnat repellent stuff!!! (Bitten to bits) Worth a. Look.

Popped in here for a quick bit of lunch. The location is beautiful with a wonderful lake. The food was a little off kilter if I'm honest; whitebait was not quite crispy and my colleagues tuna sandwich had some form of fennel in it which gave it a strange consistency. Prices do appear to be a little high - however... More

Found the pub whilst staying and the Campanile Hotel nearby. This is a new pub built in the style of a country pub. Lovely setting by by a lake. The food was good pub fare, unfortunately not everything on the menu was available, however what we had was very good and as it was fairly quiet we had time to... More
