A pub on a green, with no traffic, no noise and a microbrewery. What is not to like! Food was tasty too!

Very well made local beers and good food. The steak and beer special on weekday evenings is very good value. Enjoyed all parts of the meal.

Have eaten at this pub twice now recently and have thoroughly enjoyed both meals as did my daughter who accompanied me. The service was good and food was served in a timely manner and plenty of it. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this country pub.
We found this pub last summer and now use on a fairly regular basis. Food has been consistently good and the welcome from the staff is always very pleasing - dog friendly too. Would certainly recommend a visit here.

We were lucky to get a table on a Sunday lunchtime. Friendly staff, nice atmosphere. We had a chicken dish and pork on roasted vegetables followed by chocolate brownie. Delicious.
Went here for Xmas dinner and was blown away by not only the food but also the lovely waitresses and waiters inside!
Nice pub with pleasant staff just no good for vegetarians if you want more than one choice of a main course. Meat orientated menu.
Lovely country pub overlooking the green. Full of locals eating and drinking inside and out on a fine summers evening. The food looked excellent. Nice outside seating areas. Staff were all very friendly. Good selection of ales. Will definitely return to try the food.
