Only been here several times both in the winter months. Lovely open fire and friendly atmosphere. Staff were friendly and parking was available behind the pub.

Visited recently in the afternoon when other local pubs were closed. Glad they were as this is a gem. Positives: dogs welcome, good local ales in good condition, friendly welcome, nice quiet oldies music playing... and the kicker - our pints were topped up without...More
4 friends for dinner on a Saturday. Surprisingly quiet, shame as nice enough pub with good ales. Food portions excellent, quality good too, just would benefit from a little more effort in presentation, but saying that friendly service, good value and we enjoyed the evening.
Visited this pub with friends and enjoyed it very much. The service was excellent, a very friendly young waiter. The food was served in a reasonable time and was delicious and well presented. We weren't rushed at all. Would recommend this pub.
