Went in, yesterday, with my wife to have lunch and as directed, went downstairs to seat. Waited for a considerable amount of time and as there was no sign of being served, we left. Terribly disappointed in being ignored for a long time and this is my first bad experience to date of a restaurant.

Great service with great food, both in quality and quantity. We both had the living cafe brunch, produce had incredible flavours and was well cooked. I also had a banana, oat and honey smoothie which was just right whilst waiting for the freshly cooked breakfast.

We visited this lovely café today and wow it is superb. Friendly staff and slightly quirky and inviting ambience. The menu is fantastic with lots of variety. I had the bubble and squeak with poached eggs and smoked salmon which was delicious. Everyone else really enjoyed their meals too. My daughters informed me the smoothie was the best she had... More

What a beautiful little cafè. Took my mum here for breakfast the other day. From the moment we walked in we were greeted with a smile and hello even though the lady serving was busy. We headed downstairs to get a table that was spacious and when the waitress asked us what we wanted for drinks mum mentioned we would... More

Dear ‘Terrible’ man I would firstly like to apologise on behalf of the Living Café to you for your need to write a complaint. It does however bring to mind, that as you did not feel the need to raise your complaint at the time of your visit, that this may indeed be a fabricated review from maybe another one... More

Cute cafe, friendly staff, varied menu. Had veggie breakfast and an English breakfast, both very tasty. Friendly and efficient service. Would recommend and look forward to visiting again.

Maidstone has lots of cafes of varying quality, this is personally my favourite for breakfast and coffee. Really good quality English breakfasts and similar dishes. The staff are friendly.

We regularly visit this cafe! The staff are friendly and the food is so tasty and well priced! Can't recommend the fish finger sandwich enough

Fine wee cafe. Clean and well presented. Freshly cooked food excellent. Service first rate. Prices very reasonable. Will return ... as soon as the central Maidstone traffic works are completed.
