We've been frequent visitors to the Raja in Maidstone for some while now and always opt for the self service buffet as you can eat as little or as much as you like. The lunchtime buffet is just under £8 and offers a wide range of starters, main courses and deserts. Expect to pay the usual prices for drinks for... More

Most of the staff were very nice but one waiter seemed almost hostile and even coughed over the food without placing his hand over his mouth which was not a good start. The Korma sauce was a little watery and the pilau rice portion was quite mean. Other than that the rest of the food was nice. It worked out... More

Lots of variety of dishes and very good value for money. More selection of dishes in evening than at lunchtime but this is reflected in the cheaper prices for lunch. Kids love being able to go up and choose their own food and buffet has plenty of choice for those looking for mild or spicy dishes

Visited today with my mother in law and daughter (who can be fussy with food). Was seated straight away and drinks order taken. Great selection in the buffet, starters, Mains, rices, salads, dessert plus your poppadums and naans (freshly made). Great selection of Curries, filled often, so hot food. All clearly labelled. Staff were happy to explain what something was... More
