First time visit and very impressed.
This is a modern eaterie created within the last year or so giving it a really fresh appearance. Bright but not overly so, sparkling decor and staff who are attentive without being overpowering.
Made to feel very welcome and served pretty quickly, we chose not to have a starter but move onto the main course with my wife having the Chicken Shish. This consisted of skewered chicken cubes which had been marinated with a blend of herbs & spices before cooking and served accompanied by rice and salad. The chicken meat was perfectly cooked and very mild yet has a taste which stays with you. Quite delicious.
I had the Lamb Musaka - Minced lamb, potato, peppers, aubergine, courgette and onions, covered with a bechamel sauce and topped with melted cheddar cheese served with rice. This too was excellent and tasted amazing. Perhaps a bit drier than I would have liked but that could be a personal trait and in no way would stop me from having that again.
Drinks prices reasonable (for 2024) and a bill of ÂŁ71 covered food and drinks so not that expensive, given the quality and service we received.

We've been to Gunaydin on many occasions and never been disappointed by the food or the service. While a little pricey, you absolutely get what you pay for in both quantity and quality.
This time we were served by Ahsan, who was extremely helpful and patient with our questions, and made our lunch extremely pleasant.

My wife and I recently dined at Gunaydin and it was a fantastic experience from start to finish. The service was friendly and professional and the ambiance perfect. We ordered the chicken shish, and it was cooked to perfection – juicy, flavorful, and beautifully seasoned. The portion size was generous, and the presentation was appealing. Great place for Lunch or Dinner!

Comedy night expierence !Booked table for dinner.Staff constantly were coming to our table to rush us with the order .Once we ordered cocktails they was coming over few times over next few minutes to rush us to order the food .once we have received the starter after 5min we have received main meal ...Lack of time management and common sense completely...
Before we finished the cocktails we received the bill without even asking for it!
Food quality was average.
Customer service have a lot of work to improve.

About a month ago four of us enjoyed a tasty meal and generous portions and gave a five start review. However last Saturday, these dream-like memories bust like soap bubbles, My own meal which included mushrooms, felt without taste and there was a lot of liquid in the dish (which was not a soup plate). My wife's skewer fish portions were reduced in size, but the price was up now. Likewise our invited guest felt that her meal was not as tasty this time. This is not only surprising but inconvenient too, as since the place had opened we were confident where to go for a good meal. Not forgetting that we also feel embarassed now as we had been recommending to friends

Took my sister in for her birthday meal. Very lovely team who are extremely friendly. Great service. Thank you for the birthday singing and complimentary cake and tea definitely made it special for a birthday meal. Will visit again and recommend to others. Thank you once again to the Amalia and the Team ❤

It is with a bit of a heavy heart that I leave a somewhat bad review for a place that my girlfriend and I have raved about before. For a restaurant that prides itself on fresh food made and cooked daily, my partner's starter which is one we have tried before was unfortunately poor. The Cacik which is usually a fresh tasting Yoghurt, Cucumber & Mint dish with Dill tasted like the Cucumber had turned slightly pickled. Which threw the whole thing off, we spoke to the lady who served us, who also tried it and agreed, and she instantly took it off the menu. Sadly I was also disappointed with my main course, again, a dish I'd tried in the past, the Keremit Kofte, which before, you could taste the freshness in the minced Lamb and the herbs, but this time around honestly tasted old. The sauce was also somewhat overcooked, but, I couldn't bring myself to make another complaint. Another note to make in that their head chef was not in the kitchen tonight, and I was also sad to see that one of the regular members of their management team Matthew Cooper who has served us on both our previous trips was also not there. The staff there tonight seemed a little less enthusiastic apart from the young guy who serves behind the bar. Matthew in particular was sorely missed on a less busy early week evening. I will happily go back to the restaurant as the food is usually much better, but, today was an unfortunate disappointment. The one thing that made it better was that my girlfriend was surprised with a slice of cake and a huge sparkler, and even a song over the PA system for her birthday, which was a nice touch. And I thank Mr Cooper for arranging that for us.

This restaurant is an amazing place to eat Turkish food in Milton Keynes. The staff were all soo welcoming! The manager, Imran was very kind, offered us more complementary bread and some fresh Turkish tea. Would 100% go again

The best Turkish food in the UK, we were in MK for a festival and found this restaurant by accident, the decoration was beautiful and staff were lovely. Portion sizes were huge, my daughter and I shared hot and cold meze plus the Gunaydin special main was more than enough with Turkish bread and dips. Cant wait to visit again next year. Also the two for one cocktails were lovely at first i thought they were just filled with ice but after two could definitely feel the alcohol - lush tasting too.

The food is absolutely fantastic, fresh and beautifully presented. From the juicy kebabs to the rich, savory dips, every dish was a delight.
The service was equally impressive, with Julita going above and beyond to make us feel welcome and ensuring everything was perfect. Quick, attentive, and friendly, she really enhanced our experience.
We will definitely be back for more!

I recently dined at Gunaydin in Milton Keynes, and it was a fantastic experience from start to finish! Our waitress, Julita, went above and beyond to make our meal memorable. Her warm smile and attentive service truly made us feel welcome. She was knowledgeable about the menu, provided great recommendations, and ensured that every detail was perfect throughout our visit.
The food was absolutely delicious, with rich flavors and fresh ingredients that made each dish a treat. Combined with the exceptional service from Julita, dining at Gunaydin was a wonderful experience. Highly recommend this place if you’re looking for a great night out with top-notch service! Thank you, Julita, and the whole team at Gunaydin!

Myself and a couple friends visited Gunaydin for a last minute meal as we are not locals. We were seated straight away and the staff welcomed us with a smile. The setting were really nice and the environment is family friendly. We ordered our food without hesitation. We all ordered a mix grill special and I gotta say it had flavour and tasted immaculate. The service was top notch as well. At the end of our meal we were offered complimentary Turkish tea and I wouldn’t know a better way to end the evening feeling relaxed and enjoying company with friends whilst drinking the best tea in the world. I will be back again in the future and thank you for your service.

Imran was absolutely amazing and an asset to the company. I have coeliac disease and have an allergy to bell peppers and he made absolutely sure that my food was safe for me to eat. He ensured that I had something while my partner was eating the lovely looking bread and got the chef to cut me some carrot and cucumber. I feel more at ease with someone knowing my allergies and taking care of me. I will definitely return. We dinned for our anniversary dinner and the complimentary celebration cake was a lovely touch, even though I couldn’t eat any.
Thank you so much. We enjoyed our Anniversary dinner.

There is a friendly staff, ready for anything you need, coming with a birthday cake and music and good vibe on your table🥰.
Food was mouthwatering and drinks 5 stars , companionship 10🥰 because I miss all of them ! Everything was amazing! Thank you for this experience

Food was served in very less quantity, the rice served with the platter were minimal. When we ask to get some more rice or bread to go with they refused. Also Beaware of the high service charge. Overall not impressive experience. I will be better off going somewhere else in Milton Keynes.
