I've been here a few times and I've always enjoyed it. Food has always been brilliant but it's reasonably priced and a nice area to just have a couple of drinks. Scenic area and friendly staff. Hopefully will visit soon.

This is a small quaint pub, and the food is delicious (I usually have mussels, fish & chips or a burger). The beer gardens are lovely, the service is brilliant and the staff are really friendly. Can't fault it! Would highly recommend to anyone.

Went out for a bite to eat and drink. Food was delicious. I had the calfs liver and my partner had the veal from the special menu. It is a lovely village pub with real ales and lots of character and love eating here. Only wish I could eat here more often. Well worth a visit.

Very friendly staff, with excellent food. Would have preferred less Fish on the menu, but otherwise can't fault it. Highly recommend.

Booked at last minute after internet search for place to eat near Hotel (Audley Wood) we were staying in where both restaurant’s were fully booked. Very pleasant "local" pub - with a good menu with specials, helpful and friendly staff, not hurried. Plenty of parking.

The menu isn't vast but there is a good choice with several fish dishes. It was very busy but we managed to get a table as there had been a cancellation. The staff were very helpful and friendly and the service was good. We had the burgers which were very tasty.

Having had a brill meal for my 50th in Jan. And then taken my aunt her for lunch today I cannot recommend it enough. Mackerel was lovely, service was great as normal. A great chef and bar staff are professional

We try and go to a different restaurant in Basingstoke every week. Tonight we did the Jolly Farmer. Two of us had Burgers and two of us had Fish and Chips. The food was lovely, and pretty good value, everything being mostly cheaper than everywhere else in the area. We ate in what they call the side-bar area - very... More

Had a lovely walk through the village and stopped off in the pub. Welcoming, busy and dog-friendly. Chef prepared a special salad for me that wasn't on the menu.
