Went here, completely refurbished, not dark and dingy as before. Not busy but food still took a while. Food was lovely so worth the wait.

I like Beefeaters - the food is always well thought out and delivers exactly what the label says. I ordered a new starter - Salmon with poached egg on toast - a good sized portion - egg well cooked and all in very much enjoyed it. I had the lamb rump - which was cooked to request as medium rare... More

Arrived at 9.30am for breakfast and was turned away as we were not staying in the hotel! How ridiculous!

Only ever really go here for breakfast as I don't really rate there food as chicken is always rubbery and steaks are never cooked as requested but there breakfast is great value for money, especially as you get 2 free kids per adult, great selection of hot and cold breakfast items and definitely puts harvester and Toby to shame on... Been here many times in the past year as i work locally. As the title suggests, there are good nights and not so good. In general, the staff are great but can get easily snowed under. A bit disconcerting when you walk out after breakfast and a large rat runs along the path in front of you!

I've always had good meals here. The value for money is a little high but that's OK for good service and nice food.

Stayed in the PremierInn next door & had evening meal & breakfast here. Evening meal not too bad, although mine could have been hotter. It at breakfast they really let themselves down. I put 5 dishes in a stack that were still dirty after going through the dishwasher, I would suggest putting less in or checking them when they come... More

Driving a long way in traffic toward Basingstoke Premier Inn for the night I decided to call ahead to check food service times at the adjoined Beefeater. The lady on the phone was very polite and welcoming and made me aware that she would certainly do her best to look after me. I was cutting it fine but arrived just... More
