I have reviewed The Lime Leaf before and have visited several times since then. The welcome, attention and food were all excellent, totally unchanged. The only thing I was not happy about was the continual passage of people and staff who were going up and down the stairs. They all had to pass very close right behind me whilst I was... More

Visited for a lunch treat for my mothers 77th birthday. Having never eaten Thai food before I was a bit apprehensive, however I shouldn't have worried as the food was amazing. I loved everything and will defiantly be returning for more. The staff are extremely helpful, they even hid mums birthday cake and then brought it to the table with... More

One of my top choices for Basingstoke in the town centre. Very good food, all resonantly priced. Lovely selection of dishes to choice from (would probably like to see a few more choices/ more variety) Lovely starters and main courses, no complaints. Very nice atmosphere inside :)

So we arrived and the decor of the restaurant its self is quite nice. The service was fast and friendly, and the menu was typical of any thai restaurant but more diverse which was nice since alot of thai places dont have that many choices of food, or atleast the ones i have been to. Now, i ordered the thai... More

Having been to Thailand a few times, it was great to find somewhere which tasted like being back there. We had the early bird deal...£13.95 for 2 courses from a limited selection. The fried squid was easily the best I'd ever tasted. Not rubbery at all and the batter was crispy and light. Chicken satays cooked to perfection with a... More

Me and my friend both agreed that the food was good. I liked the lunch menu, and thought the squid starter was delicious. The chilli beef main was full of flavour. I thought that the woman working during the service (Lunch 02/08/2016) was cheery and friendly although unfortunately I can't say the same about the man (who I think may... More

Bit small so you have to plan if you want to go there and get a seat. Turning up is usually met with a no space response, which is always a good thing for restaurants these days. Puddings are much like the standard fare served in Indian restaurants so I tend to avoid.

We have dined here a few times and have not been disappointed yet! We could eat the massamam or green curries every day of the week and the price is very fair.

Enjoyed a Father's day treat with my three grown-up sons. Some of the drinks requested were not in stock but I think we were just unlucky with our choices. Food was lovely, piping hot and well presented. I particularly enjoyed the Tom Kha Kai (chicken and mushroom soup with coconut milk) which was delightful. My eldest had the Mussaman lamb... More
