The building is large and impressive with a great number of seatings. My initial fear that the kitchen and serving staff might not be able to... More

Saturday lunch of cheese, sweet potato and red onion pie in shortcrust pastry melted in the mouth and the vegetables were cooked to perfection nice not having hard carrots and watery cabbage. Good pub value for money, really enjoyed it.

We were in Bolton visiting a relative in hospital, and luckily found this place which made a huge difference to our otherwise stressful visit. Staff are totally professional ,friendly, nothing too much trouble. Menu varied , reasonably priced. Can't fault it.

We came for lunch Monday 8th may and the food was lovely. What did let it down was I asked to see how big a slice of chocolate cake was to buy and takeaway for my boys and when the lady showed me I said That I'd like one as it was to share between them. I disappeared off to... More

We took my mum for afternoon tea to celebrate her birthday. It was much more than just a few sandwiches and cake. You start with a trio of hot starters. The sandwiches come with fries as well. These are followed by scones with jam and cream and cakes as well. Apparently few people manage to finish and lots need a... More
