Great starter menu, Chicken lollipops were great. Ambient atmosphere. Good for partying. Management good. Drinks comparatively cheap. Not too far from Swindon.

i went to the Burj after reading the protestations of the manager complaining about the poor hygiene rating of 0 which he said was the previous owners and that they had overhauled everything. The food was good and a notch above most Indian restaurants in Swindon. But i was shocked to see that this establishment was given a 2 star... More

I had hired the in-house luxury Limousine which picked up 3 families (12 people) from my house and carried us to the Burj with a lovely bottle of chilled champagne en-route. At the Burj the food was simply phenomenal in taste and were presented in truly professional finesse. Hats off to the chef. All my guests were blown away by... More

First of all the mechanics of filling out a Trip Advisor review do not allow the Burj to be listed in the village of Wanborough, which is outside Swindon. Granted the restaurant is not far from Swindon 'but it's not in Swindon'. It is, however, well worth the short journey to this excellent restaurant. The high point is the food... More

When this restaurant opened several years ago I wanted it to be the same quality food as the Palm, Marlborough, as it would save me a 30 minute drive. Unfortunately it has never lived up to those expectations on any of my regular sorties to try it out. The only thing that set it apart from the plethora of Swindon... More

We went there as a family of 7 last Friday. Although we were the first one at 6:00pm the place got busy by 8:00. The service was fantastic so was the food. Absolutely no complaints.

We have just been to the Burj for Sun lunch and had lovely meal. Started with onion barges which were light and full of flavour, the rest of our meal was cooked to order so it was fresh to our table. good portions . Service was warm and friendly . My wife and I are both difficult to please, but... More

There were 3 of us we had starters main's and 1 pudding which they gave us free. We had no problem's with our meal but where given a free soft drink a beer... More

We had a meal for four from here as a takeaway. Good sized portions and really tasty. My Palak Paneer did taste a lot hotter than I though it would though. It's a little more expensive than other takeaway meals but the 15% for collection helps with that.
