I can't understand how this place has a 5 star hygiene rating. Our knives and forks were dirty, the table was covered in tissues, baked beans and ketchup. When I asked a waitress to clean it I was ignored. I was really put off the...More

I've been coming to this pub since I was a teenager! Bar looks good and clean and tidy. The guy who served me seemed standoffish and miserable with customers at the bar!! Food was ok, nothing outstanding but reflected in price.

Nice place and location, Menu looks and sound very nice, Food came, steak very bland and over cooked not to how I ordered it. Multiple people sending food back for different reasons. Sides and chips etc not nice at all. Won't be returning.

We went for the 2 rump steaks & a bottle of wine for £18.99. The first table we sat at had baked beans on it, so I had to ask for it to be cleaned. We then went upstairs as it was a bit quieter....More

if your fancy a steak can't really go wrong here, chicken combo is really nice too. Good beer, fairly well priced , had a nice night.

We went one Sunday afternoon. The food was OK, eatable and my partners steak was spot on. The problem was other diners. Some families let their kids scream all the time, even swearing at their children it was awful for other diners

You can set up a tab with your card when you arrive, we just take a swipe of it, no money is taken off. Then whenever you come up to the bar during your visit what you order is added to your tab and then you pay at the end.
