My work colleagues and I had a fantastic meal once again, with my favourite dish Chilli Paneer at The Chestnut Tree. I have not found anywhere nearby that does such fantastic food at the most reasonable prices. I would recommend this place to anyone that loves tasty food, and would suggest they try the spicy chips as a must. Can't... More

Got to say the food here is very good and ticks all the boxes, restaurant meals at pub prices, not the usual frozen crap served at most places, can recommend the spicy fries(desi style),Chilli chicken and the mixed grill, people travel to eat here, there's a reason for that, its very good and done how you like it,and a private eating area, unlike most places where your... The food here is absolutely perfect. Choose the mix grill and you wont regret it! The only thing that would improve it for me is the clientel are a bit scruffy but that is the area of the city. Dont let it put you off. The food is excellent

Following the excellent Trip Advisor reviews we went for lunch on a Saturday, as few of the Indian restaurants are open then. The place was hosting a screened football match so was full of blokes. I asked if they had anywhere else for us to sit and they do have a dining area. There was one family in there. It... More

After being recommend to try this place by several work mates we finally did. We opted for take away as this suited us the best and all we can say is "Why did we leave it until now!" Service is very friendly, efficient and nothing's too much trouble for staff who are more than happy to offer advice on what you... More

Go to this place quite often, it's a pub with good beer at good prices with very good food. Tava chicken is just gorgeous! Can get busy and as all the food is cooked fresh the wait time is longer but it's oh so worth it. Also does takeaway so you can pop in, order your food to go, have... More

This is a good place where you can have a feast with a little money - you will not feel the pinch in your pocket. There are plenty to choose from and I was told that their Chicken Wraps with Chips and Thali set are a hit with the foodies, although we never tried it. Overall a good choice for... More
