This is how to go a carvery

The Coopers has been a good carver for many years. It does what it says on the tin. A good carvery cooked and served well. Never had a bad meal here. Not your £6 a head job but you get what you pay for.

Excellent carvery, 6 adults and one child. Delicious food, lovely setting. We were in the fair fax room with beautiful views over the lake. Friendly staff and great service.

We are lucky to be local to The Coopers & we have never had a bad meal here, so we were not disappointed on our last visit. Laid back, yet attentive service and the carvery is the best we have ever had. Everything is fresh & the meat is always perfectly cooked. It is often very busy, but this has... More

We knew it would be busy, but it didn't reduce the quality of the food. We all had a great meal, the carvery is great value for money. Everything cooked beautifully and piping hot. Bit of a wait for dessert but that really wasn't a problem. We'll go again.

Have been dining here on and off for over 20 years, and the concept remains the same, serv good quality local produce and sell it at a fair price and people will come. The catering staff have changed over the years and a few years ago they took on a new executive Chef and he has pushed a great place... More

My hubby and I come here often. The food is tasty and reasonably priced, it's a struggle to find a good carvery these days. - Laura

There is a great choice of food, the carvery was excellent, the startes and desserts have a lovely choice. A nice open fire adds to the relaxed atmosphere in the pub

I booked a table for 4 only one hour before I wanted to dine. They told me that they were very busy with some large groups but could fit us in. I was a bit concerned that if they were so busy the service might be poor. However we did not have much choice on available venues, so we went... More

Our wedding day was perfect thanks to Amy and her staff. The food was absolutely delicious and service was impeccable. We could not fault anything about the day and would highly recommend The Coopers Arms for any special event or even just for a nice relaxing drink in the bar.
