Takeaway. On time and hot even though 8 miles away. All good exept Onion Bajis. Very pasty - perhaps not cooked through. Binned Would use again

Lovely meal, great prices. Place was quite but we went early as we had children with us, everyone enjoyed their meal. We've booked again!

Used to be good, I think recently gone downhill. Was ill from my last meal so have been put off coming here again. Nice large restuarant though if you're planning to go with a large group - make sure you give a pre-order

Shambolic service - sub-standard cold food

What better way to see in 2021 than with an Indian takeaway? Given what we received almost anything would have been better. We ordered 2 curries and poppadoms at 7.30 for a shade under £30. We were advised it would be with us at 21.10. We then received a message to tell us it had been delivered. It hadn't. The next message we received told us the restaurant was 'busier than usual and the food would be with us at 22.35. The food arrived with an apology from the delivery driver at 22.20. When we opened the food it was almost cold, the rice was sitting in a puddle of rice water in its container. The curries were very very watery and the chicken was riddled with little bones. The meal, in short, was inedible. We were advised to enquire online about getting money back if we were dissatisfied. We enquired and received a text this morning saying that we weren't entitled to any refund because - you guessed it - the restaurant was busier than usual. The restaurant ,then is happy to charge premium prices for awful, watery food with its only justification being that they were busy running the business they set out to run. These people have a disgusting customer ethic, terrible cold food and no idea of service. A very expensive and disappointing waste of time. Please don't order from them. They will con you or at least disappoint you. There can be no justification for the rubbish we received last night nor the manner in which we received it. BEWARE!!

Abrupt Staff

From the time we walked in until the time we walked out ,staff were miserable and abrupt, felt we were rushed to order as soon as we walked in we were seated asked if we would like a drink and what starter we wanted, popadoms were given to all 12 of us even when only 4 people had otdered them ,waiter didn't ask what the rest of us wanted. Main meal order was taken currys came out , 4 of us again had to wait for our rice by which time curry was cold . Food was of average quality will not go back again.

Dreadful service and poor attitude

We turned up for our meal at 7:30pm. By 7:45 our order had been taken and we sat awaiting our food. As we sat and chatted we could see that people in the restaurant were having to prompt the staff for their food. Clearly take away business was being prioritised over us. The restaurant was not particularly busy and as customers left their tables they came over to us wishing us luck about being served. At 9:45 we decided that having to sit for over two hour was not on. When we questioned where our food was, the front of house said that we had to wait our turn. The attitude was awful, especially the front of house.

Terrible customer service

Disgusted by the attitude and behaviour from one particular member of staff ( you know who you are ). He was literally throwing our dishes, plates, rice and naan breads on to our table. Appalling customer service. If you want to be treated like crap by a waiter, then this is the place to go to. I live in Longlevens and have been using this curry house for many years. Never again will I enter this restaurant or order a takeaway. This guy is getting a reputation for his behaviour towards his customers. My advice to him and his employer's is, go and find another job that you are happy in and stop taking your misery out on the people that are paying your wages.

Easily the worst Indian food I’ve ever Tasted

The food arrived on time but that was probably the only decent bit. The rice was cold , the Bhuna was completely flavourless and the chick dry and over cooked. The mixed Kebab was absolutely disgusting and impossible to eat !! Onion Bhajis were greasy and cold. I will never order again and even worse is I bought on Uber eats and could leave feedback there Please don’t do it !! Go to somewhere else

Normally have takeaways but wanted a night out . 5* as always. Great service and excellent food. Thanks to Shaheen and Jahan and Mr Ali. Cheap night out as you can take your own alcoholic drinks

Waste of 90minutes and £40

Wish Id seen the reviews on here! Ordered and spent around £40 on food. Waited an hour and a quarter well over estimated time and rang SKC who didn't seem to know what was going on and encouraged me to call in another 10 or 15 minutes! I asked them to find out where my order was and they didnt fill me with confidence - its with the driver, he will do 4 deliveries then yours, we cant call him to chase etc. Order came over 1hr30mins later, lukewarm, one of the naan was well overdone, oil was leaking throughout the delivery package. Shambles. Rang to complain, no ability to speak to a manager(!) I was told the delay was caused by the restaurant taking orders from multiple websites! I was advised if I wanted to complain to reply to my delivery email (it's a DONOTREPLY email address) or 'leave a review on Tripadvisor! Sent a complaint email to their actual website(there are numerous on the internet, some seem to be different food order firms that process the orders on SKC's behalf seems they cant cope with this. No reply to my email complaint so here's my hurried review. Avoid this lot, a supermarket own curry is miles better!

Horrendous company. Took payment; no food. Avoid.

Horrendous company. Avoid. After a 3 hour delay, and having paid already, food did not turn up. On New Year Eve!! Wasted most of the night waiting with starving wife and kids! Phones engaged all night, apart from once when clearly a worker picked up the phone by mistake; only to then lie and tell me our food was on its way and would be 10 min. Waited for a further hour and now they are closed. They have basically stolen £50 from me and do not care. The last meal we had from them was cold and late, so should have learnt our lesson. DO NOT GO NEAR THIS COMPANY

Disappointing

Patiently waiting for my food and already 30 minutes late. Have rang twice and staff very unfriendly and unhelpful. Do not recommend and will not be eating from here again.

Take away - terrible

This was a brilliant curry house until recently! We had to complain and then we were offered a free dish on our next order, this was then honoured however arrived crushed and in the bottom of the bag, with one meal cold.... we were advised to microwave the cold meal and. We can eat the little bit left in the dish of the crushed meal while a new one was sent out to us! After a further hour and 2 people out of 3 eating we called to chase our meal where we were advised that a delivery man had tried to call however we had sworn at him and advised we didn’t want the meal.... this was not the case and were accused of lying despite asking them to check their delivery drivers phone records to show this had not been the case..... AVOID AT ALL COSTS THEY HAVE GONE DOWN HILL AND THEY ARE NOT NICE TO DEAL WITH!
