Fabulous location. Service can be a little slow but the staff are all pleasant and friendly. Not a massive menu but a nice varied choice of items. It's always been consistently good although my last visit wasn't brilliant - scrambled egg on cold toast isn't...More

I visit The Stables Cafe regularly when walking on the canal. The coffee is great and the views from the first floor lovely. I haven't eaten there, but the food always looks good.

We visited the Stables Cafe yesterday. It was ok but nothing really to write home about. Everything was clean and tidy. I felt some of the staff could maybe smile a bit more when interacting with customers, in particular the lady taking my order. It...More
