Appreciate this place was busy as the England match was on but we ordered a pint of fosters and some white wine twice and got two different prices! Lovely pub in a good location but obviously need to watch the bar staff!

Ordered a fish finger buttie on white bread. Was served the battered fish fingers in a supermarket style white roll - dry with no butter. When I asked about the white bread, I was told they had run out. So a cheap supermarket white roll...More

Food here was fantastic, the pub itself is gorgeous but mainly the service is fantastic - all staff are very friendly. There is a nice, relaxed atmosphere and I would certainly recommend. Nice beer garden too

Driving from Harrogate to Wetherby decided to call in for a pint if lager and a glass of wine. It is quite a while since visiting this potentially good pub when we walked out because we couldn't get served, not because it was very busy...More

We visited for lunch with 15 adults and 2 children. The staff were friendly and helpful. The food was served quickly and no mistakes were made (which can't be said for some other places) We'd originally booked a table, but the staff were more than...More

Had a very disappointing visit last Friday to the Travellers. A beautiful evening, sat in the garden unfortunately surrounded by at least 5 empty tables with dirty glasses and plates on them. There appeared to be a disconnect between the staff inside and what was...More

The Traveller’s Rest dates from the middle of the 17th Century and offers fantastic views over Crimple Valley, and for those twitchers amongst us don't forget all the Red Kites we have flying by and the white crow that roosts in the tree opposite. This quaint, rural pub is one of two pubs on the famous 'Ringway Walk' around Harrogate which runs along the private lane where the Traveller's Rest is situated. We are a stone's throw from the affluent spa town of Harrogate so you have the best of both worlds. The interior boasts old wooden beams, a stoned floor area and also a light airy conservatory which leads to the garden area. This is a perfect place for a celebration or get together for a function. The enviable position of the Traveller’s Rest is what makes it a very special destination, for a lovely meal or relaxing drink of traditional beer or glass of wine. We welcome local regulars, ladies who lunch and, given the walks around us, muddy boots and dogs! We even provide water bowls for our four legged friends.
