My lovely wife and I were staying in Harrogate for my 50th birthday. We had a good walk around the town on Saturday night looking for a nice place to eat. We had walked passed the Brasserie a couple of times and didn't check out the menu (Muppets). The 3rd time we walked passed we had the sense to read... More

The food was simple and very well cooked. I had pork shoulder which was fantastic. This was washed down with an excellent Rioja. Great service, friendly staff and good value.

We had to eat here as the building is so beautiful. Happily the food was excellent too! \our duck confit just fell off the bone. Lots of veggies to go with, and really tasty gravy ( they don't do 'jus' in Harrogate, you get proper gravy!). If every dish is this good, then you'll be sure of a good meal.

Good wholesome food that you can see on your plate. Go for the early bird menu before 7.00pm to save money.

My wife and I enjoyed a steak in this establishment which was cooked to our liking, mine rare and my wife's medium. We ordered chips with our steaks but did not expect the food to come with a large amount of gravy, this however seems to be commonplace in the north of England. We had a bottle of very good... More

Now i have lived in Harrogate all of my life, and unfortunately I am sad to say i have never experienced this wonderful establishment. Firstly looked at the menu outside, sounded mouthwatering. And we are glad we did. Absolutely fantastic service, even though they were extremely busy. Very polite, and full of smiles. Beautiful food, and the live music was... More

Fantastic good quality food, excellent value for money especially if you manage to eat before 7pm. All the staff were extremely friendly and welcoming and the Jazz singer was an absolute treat!

Lovely evening meal and friendly helpful staff. Entertainment as well. Only one down side was traffic noise if one sat outside as on busy road

Harrogate is a very cosmopolitan town with many good restaurants. We had this one recommended by TripAdvisor so went for dinner without a booking. No problems. Its an elegant Victorian building with a late night 'clubby' interior. Two course meal was freshly cooked from scratch and with care. Wine was good value, entertainment/live jazz guitarist was free and we both... More
