We called in the Palm Court for coffee and cake and found it to be a really lovely place. Not very big, quite cosy but nicely set out with a 'shabby chic' decor. The cakes appear to be homemade (not sure whether they are or not but the quality suggested as much). Presentation of the food (cake and coffee) was... More

On a rainy afternoon in Harrogate this place was a gem of a find. The shop of which the café if above is an Aladdin's cave of delights and the café has its own gems to offer. Tea, sandwich and scone, a Yorkshire Tea was lovely, the quality was very high and locally produced food is always a pleasure. Nice... More

Used a Groupon voucher for sandwich & a cream tea and was very impressed. It's a very central location just down the hill from Betty's and deserves a visit from any discerning diners. Staff very polite and friendly and the room is lovely. Plenty of treats to tempt you both in the cafe and in the specialist sweet and chocolate... More

Took afternoon tea here with a Groupon voucher. As we live in Harrogate we'd never bothered eating here before, as this is the area where the tourists usually eat, but when my wife found it on Groupon we thought it would be cool to give it a spin. Our welcome wasn't terribly professional, but our waitress was great & the... More

I have visited this restaurant on a number of occasions, most always going for a sandwich or wrap for lunch. However, this time I decided to try the moussaka - lamb variety, not vegetarian - which came with a small side salad, and found it to be delicious. Really good value too, as was able to use my tastecard, so... More

This is a shop that I could spend ALL afternoon in if I was allowed. Great sweets for yourself or a present (to myself) and once you've filled your bag with fabulous sweet, pop upstairs for coffee where you get great views of Valley Gardens.

We visited here on a busy Saturday dinner time and managed to grab a lovely table by the window. The menu had plenty of choice and as I am gluten free it was joy to have such a mouth watering choice of not only savory but sweet options too! I had the goats cheese and onion quiche which was delicious... More

The moussaka was tasty, the filling was balanced. The hot apple and ginger drink was delicious. And all reasonably priced.
